They risked so much and lost many friends & family. Without them, I wouldn't be alive but not everyone was that lucky. Praying for my fellow Koreans in the north.
Entry 4 (the hand prints on the window) is actually real easy to explain. Whoever took the photo just put their hand against the inside of a frosty window and the heat of their hand melted the frost on the outside of the window. Source: I did this on the car ride to school every single day in the winter as a kid.
19:44 Never before have I seen a more disturbing photo of Kim Jong Un. The fact that we don't know why that family looks so distraught, but yet Kim is the only one smiling makes me feel so disgusted and anxious.
Photo 3: This story is one of the most upsetting, disturbing, infuriating, and absolutely, crushingly heartbreaking stories I've ever heard. The only thing I can think of that's worse than Suzanne/Tanya never having a normal, healthy life... is her actually having _had_ a normal, healthy life, and never experiencing it again after being abducted. It's one of those horrors that hurts my heart to think about it.
I hope this man goes to hell where he belongs. He is one of those stupid men that can cheat on other women but women can't cheat on him and uses it is a valid excuse to kill them. He was still married to Sandy as it never said they divorced.
I think I remember an estimation floating around that in average you'll meet something like 36 murderers without knowing. Might be a totally made up number though and I don't recall where I got it from, so absolutely no guarantee on that
The "disembodied" head is easily explained. Some skinny dude standing behind the larger woman in yellow. Tilting his head down explains the headless shadow and his face is shaded by his hair. Mystery solved.
@@CurtisD01 Number 15: Beach Photo Floating Head. The last thing you'd want in a picture with your child is someone's disembodied head. But as it turns out, that might be what you gæt.
Yep this one was pretty silly, same for the Skype one, anyone can recreate a similar picture and make up the backstory for some good ol' karma or whatever but yeah the "disembodied" head one not only doesn't really have a backstory but also is a massive stretch
The name of the channel is "Lazy Masquerade" however I can't help but notice how much time and dedication goes into these videos. Thank you for what you do. Not only do I have a niche for creepy things, but providing the facts is what really makes these videos better. Creepy and freaking COOL!
These videos are honestly the best ones for me. I don't believe like 90% of any "TRUE scary stories", but these (even considering the possibility of Photoshop in some cases) always feel so much more real because of the photos.
P L Those stories are definitely fiction. I also believe to be fiction are the ones where someone encounters a creepy man who tries something with them. Finds out later by watching the news that the man they encountered turned out to be an infamous serial killer. It’s always possible, I guess, but I just don’t believe it.
Bloody Persistent Almost all of these are fake but those are just boring. “I saw a dog and it looked weird then went home. Next day I saw human foot prints. Dun dun dun...the end.”
I mean “every day” it’s statistically unlikely unless you work at a train station or airport. However this is one of those “it only takes one...” type of deals so yeah trust your instincts because there’s a reason that random person makes your “hairs stand up”.
Melvin Richards, a young man I knew years ago. Creepy guy with very dark eyes. Currently serving life in prison. I hope he never gets. He killed his mom and a girl he claimed he loved one night. My heart dropped into my stomach when the police arrested him. I kept thinking to myself: I went to high school with him, I had biology class with him, he graduated a year before me. I thought I knew him, I thought he was a good guy but I was wrong. He's become something of a legend where I live. The younger generation, including my little brother, in and around our town still talk about him and what he did as though he was the real life Freddy Krueger. I told him once, I went to school with Melvin, I'll never forget the look on his face when I told him. I doubt anyone really knows about him and his crime doesn't have national attention. ✌️O.o
To be fair, there's only so much a person can do when people around them have suffered loss. They can comfort all they want but sometimes even that won't be enough. A picture is not as bad as comments like yours make it out to be.
That isn't what happened at all. Gaunt has gone on record to say he deeply regrets taking that photo, and that the family has since forgiven him for it. Also, he didn't know the full facts of what had happened in the moment that he shot the photo. He just reacted instinctively when someone shouted that something was happening on the beach. His job was to take photographs of important happenings, and that's what he did.
Haha i just looked him up. I always pictured him looking like the actor clark duke. Somewhat close enough. He could pull the Heath Ledger joker for sure.
Tragedy at Sea sent chills down my spine. It sounds very much like my story of when I was a 6 year old and, my mom tells me, was playing too close to the tides just before my dad took notice. The tide, in this case however, was much milder and my dad dove in and grabbed my hand just in time to save my life. I am 19 years old today, thanks to my dad. :-)
I had a similar situation as a kid when I went to step into the road in front of a car that I hadn’t noticed but my auntie grabbed me seconds before I got hit
My first thought exactly. Grew up in a place that had a double paned window above the door, but the distance was like 6 inches and windows were unmovable. Handprint would show up on the inside if a lot of moisture was around. Some idiot touched it during install. Still freaked people out at first.
@@astrowolvez Oh no, you don't realize just how filthy, dirty & disgusting some people can secretly be in their homes, do you? I've seen some real doozies in my day. Enough to make me NEVER eat certain foods ever again as long as I live. 😂😂😂😂
@@astrowolvez yeah the oils in your hand would eventually eat away at the window or decolor it some after not being cleaned for so long, maybe drying out in the heat etc, meaning that anytime it gets moist enough you could see it.

Not to be rude or "that person", but for your tragedy at sea photo you said their son was "19 years" not "19 months". Only reason I caught it was I was confused as to how a 19 year old could be swept out in what appears to be shallow water and googled the photo
Dude riptides and currents are not a fucking joke. It is entirely possible that a 19 year old could get picked up in relatively shallow water by a riptide and carried off. Note: I am not saying that an error wasn't made. Lazy said "Year-old" when he should have said "month-old". However, I was pointing out that "19 year old" would have been plausible.
@@celestinemorningstar4851 totally believable but it was his words that had me confused also, like playing in yard and happened to wander down, I was thinking that's not an typical 19 yr old
His words confused me bc it sounded like he was talking about a toddler, but the couple's actions confused me if it was a toddler. Who leaves their only baby outside, alone, at the ocean? Mistakes happen but that's bordering negligent?
@@skumpkin5191 That's what I thought too, but she has her hair down and draped over her right shoulder. Also, the "headless figure" was clearly one of those lifeguard rescue boards, right? Like, that's not a torso, no matter which way you swing it.
That Floyd case, what’s the point in giving him a death sentence if he’s allowed to live until he’s 77, at taxpayers expense? I don’t even necessarily agree with the death penalty but come on.
Letting people rot in captivity for the rest of their life, never able to kill and torture like they love so much ever again is a much crueler punishment than killing them and putting them out of their misery
@@crizmeow8394 Like I said, I don’t even agree with the death penalty, yet let’s not beat about the bush. If someone is sentenced to that, take them out the back and put two bullets you know where. No expensive injections, just get it done.

I don't tend to watch these types of vids purely because I listen while I'm doing other things but I *always* love your disturbing photos videos. I'm not sure if it's your narration style or the way you put things together (both of which are fantastic, mind you) but they always keep me super invested even with my attention problems
Its depressing the girl in the photo and that later lady's son met a demise by the same beast, but not many mentions that girl's brother who went missing along with her. Im almost certain that killer forgot him with what little he cared.
What amazes me is that Suzanne actually turned out fairly well considering she was raised by Floyd. She had gotten a scholarship so she obviously could have gone places
The "belgian bandit" looks like my dad when he was still alive. And my dad had a record for resisting arrest and breaking out of a holding cell, I'm convinced they're the same dude. And my dad used to live in Spain.
Yeah dude , please report this to the police even if it might seem nothing to you, it might help out ! Or even DM me and I’ll go to police I’m Belgian ...
The shadow in the back of the seventh entry looks a lot like the shadow of a rescue buoy similar to those used by lifeguards and considering they are at a populated beach, it would make sense. The photo after, with the head behind her head is shopped (did good job on the hair for the most part, though they missmatched the coloring on the overlapping parts of their heads, wich is pretty obvious when zoomed in). My guess is, the one who took the photo (or someone related to them) later noticed the shadow in the back and thought it looked similar enough to a headless body, so they thought it would make for a good creepy pasta, if they shop the "missing head" behind hers in the last photo. A bit too "japanese horror" tropy, imho. BUT, wtf is up with the bikini woman behind her in the water? Does she have a piece of paper on her face? Why? At first thought it might be censored by the op, but why would he but a shadow on a white censorebar and make her hair cover it partly. Also the other faces in the back are left uncensored. That part is the real mystery in this picture!
If you raise the levels in Photoshop, you can see a clear edge where the light meets the "shadow" cast by his hair. Lack of texture or variation suggest it was uniformly applied in Photoshop. If it were a real photo, the shadow would grow lighter towards the dude's temple, where there's less hard shadow being cast. Obvious fake.
I actually got the impression that the photographer happened to catch the man walking behind his subject at a weird time, giving the illusion of a disembodied head. There was a similar case of a "ghost woman" caught on tape, at an airport, but it turns out that the woman "disappeared," 'cause she walked behind another person at a weird time, and it gave the illusion that she suddenly vanished. Sometimes, people can unintentionally (and unwittingly) cause optical illusions.
my guess: someone took a Chris Gains photo, edited behind the woman, then claimed that it was the head of the body seen in the shadow…it’s clearly the rescue “can” used by lifeguards as seen in Bsywatch
my bro took a picture of me on my bike 2 years ago when i was leaving for the gym. when i was coming home from there, i ended up in an accident -- not sure if i fell or got hit by a car since my memory got totally blanked -- and that bike got totally scrapped too. i only had a concussion and broke a few bones but recovered fully, except for the scars.. i think i was pretty lucky in the end though, but that could've been the last picture ever of me hehe. the nurses said they just had another guy there who died in a similar accident, and they certainly thought i was lucky. when i left the hospital, i went straight to where the ambulance had picked me up. i found my bike in the ditch there. the impact must've been pretty rough since it had snapped the metal handlebar in half and both rims were broken and the other peddle was missing as well. i left it there in the ditch, nothing left to redeem lol. there's something funny about that photo.. i'm posing and smiling like an idiot, but i don't remember the day at all.. hell, those few days surrounding the crash were lost for good. it's a good picture though, it's the last one of me before i broke my nose and got my face dragged across the asphalt haha, lookin fre$h af boii. wear a helmet btw
I heard how helmets crush your skull and crack break your neck. Helmets wouldnt keep you safe either if anything if you wore one that day you probably wouldn't be here now. In my opinion.

The way you described the Frank case with that revelation was literally one of the most chilling moments in years of me watching this kind of content. VERY well done!
Scientist here. Love your channel, and I might be able to clear up the spooky hands on the glass. I note it's a black and white photo, and that might hide a previous colour photo, previously made on an infrared camera. Imagine this: someone with warm hands touched the glass on a pane of glass, then did it again. Then, the IR colourised version gets made black and white again, and hey presto. Infrared photo film was a thing waay back - certain old cameras have a setting for it. There's a ton of explanations, actually. Great channel!
I remember the story of the Japanese student at Niagara Falls. I've stood at that very spot and watched the water flowing, just meters from going over the falls. The power of the current is palpable, and almost terrifying. (This was years before that story.) It's so horrible to think of that moment when she realized she was falling off the railing, and there was nothing she could do...

The second image is a hacker crossing calls - he might have been testing his hack on a random call. Which happened to be ther kids. When zoom was released, important calls were juxtaposed with porn and/or music videos. It's quite common.
The hype is through the roof when I see a lazy Masquerade video in my notifications feed. Thanks bro for keeping stories entertaining and horrifying as always 👍
I have mixed feelings about this video to be honest. The supposed "ghost" pictures kind of ruin it for me, because A) they don't really fit the "normal photo with a dark backstory" description and B) I don't believe for a second that they're legit. They don't seem very convincing to me and personally, I would have left those for another video, focused on the more paranormal/unexplained matters.
@@anthonyhutchins2300 Don't get me wrong, I absolutely do believe in the paranormal. I just didn't feel that it's a good fit for this particular video ;)
I saw this comment just as I was going to say the same thing. I can see how these could be scary if you truly, in your heart, believe in ghosts and stuff. But I truly in my heart don't, and I find it even a little annoying that Lazy talks about them like there could be no possible explanation for what's going on when there are clear answers right there. On the other hand, knowing something *actually* happened when the details are creepy as hell is truly disturbing.
Lazy: "It's freaky to think that somebody could be outside your window at night watching you while you're unaware, whether they're from this reality or another." Me: *Slowly glances over my right shoulder to look at the window behind me to see if a 12 foot tall man is trying to get a peek*
Can you imagine someone capturing the worst moment of your life and then winning a prize for it? And then coming to find out he is a father of a child the same age. That really rubbed me the wrong way. Very, very sad.. I feel for those parents.

I mean if you sleep on the second floor or higher I don't see why not. Like... no one will be able to see you from a distance if your lights are all off and they won't be able to look inside unless they get a ladder. Buuut I might just think that because I'm someone who a) lives in the country, b) has a window that's too high up to see into from the ground (unless you stand on the hot tub cover, but that's how you break an ankle), and c) hasn't had any curtains on my bedroom window for years. There isn't even a rod for them or whatever it's called.
@@theworldoflivvy3150 You know, your windows might be second floor or higher, but so are other people's windows. It's still very much possible to see from one window into another if they're on the same level ;) Of course you probably won't see any details, but still. Anyway, I think a lot of people (at least here where I'm from) cover their windows simply for the sake of privacy and also to dim the lights from outside so they can sleep better.

Number 8 was so surreal. The idea that just a moment later she was gone forever is just heartbreaking because what she's dong seems so innocent. I live near the ocean and there's this place where people like to jump from a cliff into the water. Locals have been doing this for ever, but know to always check for underwater boulders, surprise currents, and riptides before we jump in. Since the popularity of this location has boomed in the last 10 years, so many people have died there it's just insane. I was down there once and saw a woman loose her footing trying to get a picture. She lost her footing, fell, and hit a shelf of rock that juts out. The sound her ankles and then head made when they hit the rock is something I'll never forget (she survived).

Tragedy at sea hit me really hard. When I was 15 my brother and I were on vacation with my family. On our last full day at the beach my dad went out on a kayak. It flipped and the tide took him. My brother and I watched the entire thing. We tried to get out in the water to get him, but other people on the beach stopped us before we got out. We did manage to go out in the deep a few times. My brother almost drowned in the process. It was truly traumatic. I remember those feeling you described all too well, of the mother and fathers pre shock of what has happend. My dad didnt make it. Yes, you are correct- a workman may have been completing a job on the building outside of the window during the day, the hand prints may have been a result of balancing or steadying himself while working. During the night with humidity, the hand print would have appeared depending on the amount moisture in the air and on the window.

It's one of those horrors that hurts my heart to think about it.
It is awful. They actually created a full documentary on this story on Netflix called The Girl in the Picture. I highly recommend it.
I hope this man goes to hell where he belongs. He is one of those stupid men that can cheat on other women but women can't cheat on him and uses it is a valid excuse to kill them. He was still married to Sandy as it never said they divorced.
Makes you think about how many serial killers you encountered in life... We truly don't know.
Absolutely none, because its *'serial'* killers, not seriel 😉😅
I think I remember an estimation floating around that in average you'll meet something like 36 murderers without knowing. Might be a totally made up number though and I don't recall where I got it from, so absolutely no guarantee on that

The "disembodied" head is easily explained. Some skinny dude standing behind the larger woman in yellow. Tilting his head down explains the headless shadow and his face is shaded by his hair. Mystery solved.

Actually, those hand prints could have happened when the window was installed.
My first thought exactly. Grew up in a place that had a double paned window above the door, but the distance was like 6 inches and windows were unmovable. Handprint would show up on the inside if a lot of moisture was around. Some idiot touched it during install. Still freaked people out at first.

Not to be rude or "that person", but for your tragedy at sea photo you said their son was "19 years" not "19 months". Only reason I caught it was I was confused as to how a 19 year old could be swept out in what appears to be shallow water and googled the photo
Oh thanks. I was confused because the words Lazy used to describe the son's movements sounded more befitting of a little kid.
Dude riptides and currents are not a fucking joke. It is entirely possible that a 19 year old could get picked up in relatively shallow water by a riptide and carried off.
Note: I am not saying that an error wasn't made. Lazy said "Year-old" when he should have said "month-old". However, I was pointing out that "19 year old" would have been plausible.

most people with death penalty have to wait awhile to actually get killed. most “death penalties” end up as life in prisons
Letting people rot in captivity for the rest of their life, never able to kill and torture like they love so much ever again is a much crueler punishment than killing them and putting them out of their misery

Went back to watch that part after I saw your comment. I think the woman may be wearing a visor and is looking down.
Yes, she's wearing a visor.

Buuut I might just think that because I'm someone who a) lives in the country, b) has a window that's too high up to see into from the ground (unless you stand on the hot tub cover, but that's how you break an ankle), and c) hasn't had any curtains on my bedroom window for years. During the night with humidity, the hand print would have appeared depending on the amount moisture in the air and on the window.
Unless it’s a demon who has a right arm where the left arm should be and a left where the right should be.
