As a Bay Area native, I loved that you did this interview. She is super tapped in but somehow still incredibly underrated.
I've met Kamaiyah! The way she is in this interview is the exact same way she is in person! She's such a down to earth, humble, beautiful individual. Love her and her music!
I never heard of her until this interview and id support her music simply based off her personality like she is a great example of a REAL Black women,a REAL artist,she really is a queen. Im in love with her mind already. I could converse with her an listen to her talk all damn day. She has way more to offer with just her words than most women have to offer with their whole lives.

She’s a very dope artist. I heard a song on the HBO show Insecure that had me like who is this she talking that talk. Man it was so on point with the scene I had to hear more. I ended up finding her music and remember being on the highway slapping all her music. Then caught her in a cypher I was like yesssss. Very underrated to us but the industry knows she’s a lyrical genius. She don’t care about the clout she know who and what she needs to know and is protecting her peace at all cost. I love it and want to see more. She stand out in a major way very authentic.
