It's been a really inspiring journey with my ISTP husband. He was definitely living more in his "dark side". But I saw something more in him. Over the years he's really been able to pull himself out of that and be a more well rounded person. In no small part because I had to learn that no everyone needs my help. If he wants to fix something, he does best when he can fix it on his own. So all I do is encourage him and let him know that his efforts don't go unnoticed. (I'm ENFP btw)
God bless you!!! I'm an ENFJ and I hope this happens for me and my ISTP love. ☺️ He tells me that I see the beauty in everyone just like Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
ISTP female (20) You got this one. It really felt like me. Boy, I hate it so much when someone comes to me with that kind of speech wich will do touch my Fe in the end.
What I find interesting and accurate are the different uses of Fe between the two. Both were calm during this conflict but eventually ISTP lost his cool when ENFJ questioned his Fe. Types do have that insecure feeling when it comes to their inferior function which makes them defensive and more sensitive than usual. That is usually why ISTPs have these explosive moments when it comes to situations relating to sentiments. Not only does this happen to ISTPs but often thinkers in general. As much as they don't want to admit it, they do have a poorer control of their emotions and having confusing moments with them which leads them to having some form of an emotional meltdown.
That sounds about right. I found that deep breathing does help with regulating our emotions. Just breathing through them and letting our emotions run their course while we focus on breathing and letting them go. But maybe other personality types would have better luck if they focus on positive emotions and letting those positive emotions sink in. People say that God is love, but to me, kindness is divinity.
I’m thinking I have inferior Te, then. IDK, I really hate battling intellectually with people. I just like what I like and screw you if it doesn’t work for everyone. Lol it’s weird. I’m actually very logical about many things. It’s when it comes down to proving or explaining the “reasons” For what I like or value, then I get extremely weird. It’s actually really frustrating
ENFJ me trying to enlighten my ISTP dad but constantly getting shut down... it's occasional when we both actually hear each other out and it's feels great when it does
Being an istp can seem cool and badass until you get called out on being defensive and less mindful of others. It really strikes a chord, feeling like you’re pretty good at plenty of things and it’s working out, but the potential selfishness really bites in the ass til that inf Fe develops
I just noticed that when the ISTP says, "See, you're doing it right now!" with the guilt-tripping thing, he has the spray bottle pointed like he's going to spray the ENFJ for misbehaving like a dog!!! XD

As an ENFJ Idgaf about people talking with me like that. Yeah I may give advice like presented in the video, but if I get responses like that I never repeat myself this way with this person ever again unless he wants/needs my help. hahaha That ENFJ character is so spot on. We usually will be supportive and understanding until someone decided to break the society unspoken rules. We just want to prevent any conflicts which is why we will push our closed one to behave. We dont mind some rule-breaking except when it's make things harder for other people.
This was spot on. Loved it. As an ENFJ with thinker parents and siblings it can feel like I’m fighting tooth and nail to get ppl to do things I consider common courtesy. And usually ends in a dramatic coming to Jesus moment for everyone involved, as it did here between ISTP and ENFJ. Everyday is a dang drama 🎭 but what’s so hard abt not parking in the neighbors only spot man!!! Come on lol
The ISTP did have a point. No one likely cares too much. It’s possible, but it’s likely not probable, though it depends. The ENFJ is just imagining wayyyyy too far into it because they’re like consumed by a huge, nagging, dominant Fe
Enfj "caring about other people feelings" and totally ignoring the fact that they are making an istp upset... Also possibly without any real reason (only if the neighbour would get mad, and maybe he even wouldn't)

Edit 2: I particularly loved the part where you said about addressing emotions and listening to them ❤ - so important, and yet, so much missing in today's society...
Again, thank you for this new perspective you gave me, take care!!
@@magic13christispage I am an ISTP woman so there is some difference there for sure, but wow I’m glad this response meant so much! We’re stubborn so getting him to be tidier is def an achievement lol
But yeah I agree that the types you’re close to play a huge role in how you’ll end up. Sometimes you pick up their habits, but other times the differences make you more stuck in yours. I am glad I could get unstuck though
Best to you too!!
@@carcowarc It did mean much indeed 😇😇 I would have many things to ask you as of your perspective on things, since you are an istp on the one hand and woman on the other, but this youtube thread is not suitable for this I guess 😁
(As for the achievement, I would prefer it to have been in things like ethical issues, health issues etc. but ok, I cannot save the world myself I guess; in my case, I suppose I had the opposite result and made him more stuck in his habits 😁😁 - my Fi not being tactful at all maybe)
I am glad for you too for getting unstuck 😉😊
It's been a pleasure talking to you 😊
As an INTP, I totally relate to the ISTP getting angry and defensive whenever ENFJ kept questioning him. Inferior Fe sucks. :(
Also, I just love these videos! :)
I am Fe person but tbh I can't help myself to say this type of things because if I don't I feel so guilty (btw my brother is estj and I struggle daily)
am enfp and my best friend is istp we got along fine We always ended up laughing at everything and rarely had a fight in 2 years
Inferior Fe: Sometimes I do care for people and then there are the times where they can just go suck fat nards because they’re interrupting my sessions of Dawn of War II and Neverwinter Nights with their incessant gossiping.. - INTP
Same
I'm also an intp and i barely survived watching this video until the end. I got so frustrated with an enfj. Mind your own business, dude!
My best friend and three of my sisters are enfjs. Thanks God none of them is so pushy. I would understand it if it was enfjs car. I would appreciate their advice. Butnif i don't feel like i should move it until the neighbours ask, leave me alone.
As an ISTP, I can say this is perfect
ya, I think the ENFJ was more concerned about how other people will see the ISTP and misunderstand him than wanting him to "do the right thing"
Yeah, it’s just that we couldn’t let others think badly about our friends 😅
“I just want you to understand”.
So ENFJ personality type. LMAO.
And yeah, that’s me.
If I were the ISTP's roommate, I would ask more about his computer than his parking. - INTJ
I'm an ENFP married to an ISTP! A lot of this argument felt really familiar.
@@kaylah87 someone who understands the struggle omg💟
Golden woman
God bless you!!! I'm an ENFJ and I hope this happens for me and my ISTP love. ☺️ He tells me that I see the beauty in everyone just like Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
I'm ISTP married to ENFP. He's so annoying with his stupid fixation on that parking spot. His Pollyanna shit is quaint. Lol
The.... Best....... Mbti..... Content..... Creator!
The best role player..... Omg!!!!
ISTP female (20)
You got this one.
This explains a lot...
Fe???? What is it?
Disagree with the last part… “As much as they don’t admit” when you literally are not everybody else to say it accurately!
XD
this might be your best skit yet! both of these types are portrayed so honestly, both the good and annoying parts of them
ISTP here
damn, i dropped a tear
Beautiful poem 😭
naisu
haiku
as an ENFJ i have never resonated so much with something
When you try to make everybody happy,
you take more from yourself than you can ever hope to give.
ENFJ here!!! Dated an incredible ISTP who was the love of my life!!!! Our differences made us compliment each other so well. We are no longer together but I think my sweetness drove him nuts! 🤭😂😭🦥☺️🌻🌄🔆
The part where istp gives up and goes to repark the car just so the argument is over is the closest thing to home
Yeah.. I kid you not. When there is a fight between ENFJ and others, it always ends in SADNESS.
This is 100% perfect. I’m ENFJ and perceived that I don’t want to look bad. But I don’t ANYONE to look bad when I know what they are inside NOT BAD
The way the ISTP talked and did those outbursts of anger…. wow, this really is realistic because my boyfriend has that type of emotional outburst when his patience runs out. (Or when he’s being stubborn and defensive)
-INFP
As an ENFJ, I feel attacked haha. I somehow take everyone's problems as my problems when they shared them to me :( it makes me stressed. Still learning how to be a little 'selfish' to put myself more :(
Men, this is so true. As an ISTP I’ve had tons of conversations like this. Not as heated now as they used to be, ‘cause now I learned to skip to the last part knowing that people won’t understand me anyways.
now i know why i am a istp, this is so god damn accurate...
As an enfj i feel called out. Like shit man. I have verbatim done this before usually over more intense topics tho. I honestly couldnt care less about parking spots
I am an INTJ and this is spot on with my ISTP husband. You have to be a tough woman to take their outbursts not personally. Then they turn around, smile at you and hug you. (Or silently go change your car oil. Lol). It's surely a roller coaster.
As an ENFJ
Idgaf about people talking with me like that. Yeah I may give advice like presented in the video, but if I get responses like that I never repeat myself this way with this person ever again unless he wants/needs my help.
I value my respect same as I value doing something worth-full for the community
as an enfj, yes I argued a lot with my istp ex best friend, and I feel personally attacked by this video bc your portrayal of an istp is accurate as hell and I'm close to crying because I'm scared everytime you shouted lmao 😭
One of my closest friends is ISTP and I’m ENFJ. We can confirm this is painfully accurate.
hahaha That ENFJ character is so spot on.
Come on lol
Same as me. My siblings are so tough to geting works done. Even their own responsibility.
My mom is an ENFJ and my dad is an ISTP, the whole arguing loudly for a few seconds then making up quickly is on point.
I'm an ISFP 9w1 and ENFJ and ISTP are my ideal guys. This hit me in the feels, because I like both of their mindsets. I'm so happy they listened to each other in the end 😭
My mom is an ENFJ, i am an INFJ
This is too accurate ☠️☠️☠️
I actually really like both of these personalities each for his own uniqeness enfj for being a knight of justice
and istp for being a badass adventurer
These skits are literally one of the best MBTI videos I've watched so far
As an INTP I feel that ISTP. 👌My grandmother is esfj I guess and we have similar problem. Oh that ENFJ manipulation. 😩🤕
Could you elaborate on why you think this was manipulation and not an honest dialogue?
I think you missed the point on this one.
As an ENFJ this is how I destroyed my friendships with my ISTP and INTP friends
This looks like my fights with my ISTP father.
The final too.
He gives good advice sometimes.
At 2:58 as ISTP spoke that was emotional lol
I literally threw my headphones off and walked away because I felt SO SEEN
- enfj
You did a really good job with this video! Your acting, the script, the editing... PHENOMENAL!
The Fe Ti clash. 😂 it’s kinda weird watching it as an ENTP, cause this clash happens just inside myself alone.
As an istp this is very accurate. If I don't see a problem with it, I'll leave it how it is until I see one.
Omg wow. Only difference is I am an infj but my istp partner and I have had word for word conversations like this. Spot on.
yes, as an istp, i can relate to this video so much. my mom asked me to sleep early yesterday but i say no. but at the end, i still go sleep early. see, we r not that mean lmao
AMONG THE REST OF TYPE interaction ....This is one of the most agreeable and valuable interaction of every type I watch on youtube... So i immediately subscribed to you man! ISTP here with a heart of my duality ENFJ.
ISTP note to other ISTP's:
"Install a security camera facing the parking lot so you don't have to look through the blinds".
I just discovered apparently ENFJs are one of the best partners for us ISTPs and I love it ....
I am an ENFJ and my oldest brother is an ISTP. I adore my brother. Growing up, we had many differences but I was able to help him open up and now we have the closest of the relationships. He’s taught me how to read people and I’ve taught my brother how to be vulnerable 💜
Excellent acting here. You were really pissed as the ISTP and convincing (as a Lisa Simpson annoying) ENFJ 9not a criticism!). Great work.
Incredible! Loved it! I identify with the ENFJ. ❤
ISTP are the best ST type imo. They just get on with stuff with no drama and try and see things for what they are, and they have an interest in deeper understanding.
Very effective depiction of how dual types learn from each other.
Once I took a test and I got ISTP, I studied them and got ENFJ-
As an INFP, I admit that in a situation like this I'd act like the ISTP
I just felt identified with him. I don't think ENFJs are dumb, or annoying or anything like that. But this was very stressful for me. I can't deal with people who care so much about everything. It's like "wtf bro, it's nothing bad, why is that so important to you?"
Because the micro in aggregate becomes the macro.
@@puremercury I have to admit you're right. But it's just if is aggregated. Sometimes although is good to think in the possibilities or in the future, you have to live and think in the present. Nothing is happening right now, so isn't useful to think about what would happen then, do you understand what I mean?
I know maybe this doesn't sounds like what an INFP would say but sometimes you have to calm down. Just a little
I'm sorry if I speak not very good, I'm learning English yet
@@puremercury annoying and overbearing? I didn't see it, can you explain me that better please?
Yes, we have different points of view, what is okay and normal. Trying to impose a way of thinking on others is foolish
Spot on! Acting skills are improving 🤓👍
Awesome, well done mate! Once I thought I was ENFJ but then I had an interview with a professional and she typed me as ESFJ. And comparing your ENFJ and ESFJ skits, it's clear how different they are, ENFJ being more 'fiery' than ESFJ, which is actually more nurturing. Both lead with Fe but you portrayed these differences very well. And that's actually something most people don't get 🙌🏽✨ (and yes the mistype is real lol)
Bro, I know you don't do these videos anymore, but they're really good. Not only interesting but meaningful. Even if you don't care about MBTI anymore I would love to see this style of video again. Just the way the two people have conflict but end up affecting each other positively in the end. I think you've captured something powerful and rare about relationships and the human condition.
Anyway, great stuff.
Wow this was so interesting to see. I suspect my mom to be an ENFJ and her husband an ISTP and they work so well together
This ENFJ just spoke to me in a real way. Kinda out of sorts because I have these blind spots in my life that end up making stress for those I love a lot...Nice skit 👍
This was an awesome skit! I love ISTP’s blunt response: “it’s a non-issue”
This is in point!! I'm close with two ISTPs and my dad is an ENFJ hahahaha
As I always say the line from spider man " i missed the part where thats my problem"
Can’t wait for the isfp and entj to go at it. Have a feeling that’s gonna be good like this one.
I'm an ISTP and my big sister is an ENFJ I find this super funny since this how we literary fight and it's so damn accurate up to this point 3:44 lmao this is my favorite gesture after a fight
Im an ISTP, and this is hilarious because this is me sometimes but also sometimes i'm reasonable.
This is my inner battle everyday in my brain the entire day.
I can’t decide which personality I am
The ENFJ and ISTP are my favorite pairing XD
My parents are ISTP and ENFJ. This is like looking at my parent's arguments
As an istp, my mom is an enfj. This always happens to me but enfj are helpful.
This is me as an ISTP arguing with my brother.
This was amazing, please do more istp skits
OMG, I can relate to this so much as being 30 yr old ISTP.
Funny thing is, I'm an ISTP that thinks and will stand my ground like one, but I made it a personal project of mine to understand how people think. That has made me able to approach people like that ENFJ if I think the situation calls for it.
What an awesome deep dive into intertype dynamics! 💡
I need to learn this for writing stories.
as an istp the conversation is giving me high blood pressure
I was wondering which roomates are gonna be next. Then I read the title and YES. This is what we needed. Your videos are always so accurate we appreciate what you're doing 🙆
As an ISTP, I assure yall, if you want me to change smth, you must give me some good reasons for doing that. And complaining or telling me how bad of person I am isn’t a good reason. Everyone has their private space, and it includes their decisions. If you want to keep a nice relationship you shouldn’t invade other’s private space like that and expect this person to easily agree with you. ESPECIALLY when these decisions don’t affect anyone in any way.
As an ISTP this is exactly how i am when im angry, the fact that my mother is an ENFJ makes this even better
We dont say "please". "They can adapt" is insanely accurate. We WOULDNT have moved the car anyway.
