My name is Dmitri, i live on the Gold Coast Australia. I remember a tingling sensation i would experience when i was young, as i grew i found i could trigger the experience when i found the right set stimuli like the tone of a person's voice, gentle massage, watching someone focus on a task. This was before video and internet were in the same thought range. Over time i found and experienced many different situations to learn about all the different triggers for ASMR. I translated that experience & combined some innate ability to help people experience it with the high quality studio recordings to bring the highest quality tingles i can.
ASMR is a tingly feeling the commonly felt in the scalp area and often down the back and other parts of the body. ASMS is commonly experienced through a soft spoken or whispering voice, ear to ear sounds or binaural sounds, watching or experience massage, plus a Variety of sounds like tapping crinkle scratching.
Some of the benefits of ASMR might be sleep relaxation reduce stress and anxiety
I specialize in no talking ASMR video's focusing on ASMR sounds, i try to create different video for all the different preferences people have. Some of my role plays are based in fictional characters like Dr Dmitri & Manwelle
I loved watching massage video to experience ASMR so i like to create video to replicate these experiences with other, like head massage, back massage for total body relaxation.
What is ASMR ? A theory
When your cranial nerves receives information in the form of sight, sounds & Senses your brain may process this information as let us say a "trigger" When you cranial nerves find that perfect combination of "Triggers" it activates the full effect of the parasympathetic nervous system almost like a symphony neurons hitting the perfect note as wave after wave of feelings cascades down the nervous system down the spine and to many parts of the body
I believe it may then releases one or more of: oxytocin, acetylcholine, GABA, Serotonin, endorphins directing into the brain and blood stream Instantly relaxing, clearing cortisol, adrenaline and soothes the body.
There is another side effect of this symphony that it puts the brain into a alpha state and after the person falls asleep allows them to access a deeper delta level state during sleep.
This theory idea was put forward to me by a very special person, i believe they have a insight and understanding of ASMR that even i do not have.

Your sound quality has always been so far beyond anyone else, it has set you apart from a lot other asmr channels. It MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Whether some people prefer the old school is irrelevant. Your professionalism, and attention to detail, has set the bar. Period!

The popular mics with silicon ears are fine for ASMR, but I cringe when I notice the bass cut. For some reason, ASMR content creators employ the bass cut switch, yet part of what makes ASMR decent are bass frequencies. Ambient music also relies on bass frequencies to achieve a relaxing effect. A major reason why I love MassageASMR has to do with not only the production level of these videos, but also Dimitri's baritone voice.
BucksStudent its probably because some huge asmrtist has the bass cut off so they just copy it
First and foremost, I'm excited for whatever you decide to do.
Second, my favorite, always go-to video of yours is the Reiki ASMR. Have you ever considered trying another one of those??
As for other video ideas, I love the prospect of another Sound of Rain ASMR. The first video was just with the magic white card, but if you tried to make another video you could use other items. For example, you've used a glass jar in some touch tapping videos; I think that sound is very reminiscent of the sound of Rain.
Finally, when it comes to the no-talking intros, I get what you're saying. You go into the video with an idea of a few specific things to say, and everything has to be very intentional. With the recent 1 hour no talking compilation, I noticed some new scenes where you tried talking more in this manner, and I could tell it was tough. (You spelling your name, you saying what you do/why you do it, etc.) So, I appreciate that those are tough, but they trigger me SO MUCH. Those videos are so highly appreciated, I just want you to know.
It is not about the quality mics. ASMR is not about that. Nowdays quality, mics, HD cameras sometimes are "before" asmr. And people watching this - notice that. And how about feeling ASMR in real life? It is about to treat in situation...About some topic about person. I would like to simplify my ASMR - sometimes I even try to do worst camera quality. But the most important thing is to fight with trying to do...But just stay simple. Many people starts doing ASMR - and they can give really intense tingles without camera or mics. Community like it. And then that creator wants a new binaural mics - and magic is gone ;) He is not the same anymore - something like that..

6:04 This exactly. This reason is exactly why you're my favorite to watch for ASMR. You really just get it. The sounds are awesome but it's also about the focus you have and the way you go about creating the sounds that really brings it to the next level.
I definitely prefer unintentional style videos. I don't like rhythmic fast tapping for instance, because it feels
very forced and artificial. But sporadic tapping while someone handles an object, i get tingles from. The more natural the action comes across the more it gives me ASMR. the mic used to record it is largely irrelevant. I probably get more tingles from low quality mics than i do high end ones, its ALL about the persons voice, or what objects they use.

My quest in my audio for i brief period of time was to create a an asmr like feeling in music, not asmr but that hypnotic paralyzing realization of asmr. And in my own perspective I succeeded but I liked it tuned down to 432Hz=a and I do believe in that freq can alter matter and therefor body. that can be the reason that I feel like that when I knowingly listen to that sound with that information.
I really miss these videos. Just listening to you talk about something he is invested and interested in, is some of my favourite content on the whole platform.

I have huge issues with additional static and humming and some weird beep sound.. Most of my viewers say it doesn't bother them, but it bothers me lol. Do u have experience with usb isolators? .. I don't know if I should use one

I think you should try microphones that relaxing asmr use. They are internal microphones. They make super sounds, and could be perfect for the massages video

If the intro hand movements are meant to translate, maybe stick with that idea. Could make a sort of script for a vlog or quick message and go through a video with hand motions to convey the script.
Hey Dmitri, what are your thoughts on the Blue Yeti microphone for ASMR? I've noticed a lot of smaller channels, even bigger ones, use this mic. I understand that it's a great for beginners, but are there better options at this price point?
Asian Import personally I love it for non ASMR stuff, and I’m not even great at utilizing it lol.
Basically all usb microphones have the same audio quality. I can find essentially the exact same product for much less.
You really do have the best audio quality of all asmrtist I know. There are some different type ones, like slime videos, but for talking you are the best one
