Yup, for me concentration and focus is a necessary part of asmr and I almost never get a response to intentional asmr. Mindlessly scraping fingers on a hairbrush or crinkling paper is actually frustrating and annoying to me

Even if his sounds and props are simple compared to most in this field specially nowadays with so many new channels popping-he still produces the bests of the bests videos because every stroke of sound is filled with such focus, such passion. He got the right balanace of pattern and diversity too imo, enough to carry one into a rhythm but also enough variation to keep one entertained. I really really love your work dude you've been around since I was in Elementary and Ima bout to be done with college and I still go back to your corner of youtube to relax whenever I'm overwhelmed. The way he concentrates on what he's doing is sometimes better than the sounds he's making for me. Im so glad he can continue to use tried and true methods nowadays.
