Yeah, occasionally I think about how weird it would be meeting someone like him in person. Someone you've spent so much time with in such an intimate way, but they have no idea who you are.
Eye-ronically I started watching your videos back in 2011 when I was getting my doctorate! I've now been an eye doctor for almost 10 years. Thanks for helping my stress and insomnia. You're the GOAT of ASMR.
I've often wondered if eye doctors are triggered by eye examinations. I had an opthamologist while growing up that could have people out cold with his voice.
@justsomeguy7044 If anything, I get annoyed at the inaccuracies and avoid any type of eye/ cranial nerve/ medical exam ASMR lol. This is my one exception because of Dimitri's voice and cadence. It is interesting sometimes to see people re-create what they think the experience is like.
And within 5 seconds, I’m 12 again, discovering ASMR for the first time, struggling with my inability to get tingles but still adoring the peaceful feeling these videos gave me. Thank you for bringing me back to those days!

The roleplays are always my favorite. Most "triggers" aren't my bag. Like I don't love microphone scratching or crinkling all that much. It's always been the voice for me. My earliest ASMR experiences were probably elementary school, sitting on the floor of the cafetorium, listening to some boring assembly where the presenter had a nice low voice, a classmate scratching my back... One of my favorite videos of yours is the Practice Exam because it's exactly what would cause real world ASMR for me.

I fell asleep even before the examination begin lol. I love how it sounds almost "unintentional", it's truly the best way to get tingles. I don't have to focus too hard, I just listen and relax. A lot of ASMR videos are trying to make a lot of tingles fast and while it's nice, I always come back to your videos because they're perfect to me. For example just the part at 2:51 was awesome. Anyway thank you for this video!

I fell asleep even before the examination begin lol.
I love how it sounds almost "unintentional", it's truly the best way to get tingles. I don't have to focus too hard, I just listen and relax. A lot of ASMR videos are trying to make a lot of tingles fast and while it's nice, I always come back to your videos because they're perfect to me. For example just the part at 2:51 was awesome.

The first time I saw it was on RUclipsrs React and one of your videos was on there. You were the first channel I sought out after that video, so I guess you could say you were the first ASMRtist I watched. I’m so glad you’re doing videos again 🫶🏼 hope you’re enjoying it
Also side note - I remember when I first found out you were Australian it blew my mind. I live near Brisbane, it’s like knowing a celebrity lives near you (as near as a 2 hour drive can be)
