I have been sick with COVID since March 19th. I found your channel about two weeks in, and the other breathing exercise/stretching video, along with the meditation is helping me immensely. It was some simple stretching I could handle at my sickest to make sure I was still moving at least a little. I have very bad anxiety, and it was through the roof because of COVID. But just doing the meditation with you and your joyful attitude has helped me manage my stress. I have seen the difference on my phone oximeter. Before I started doing the meditation I would almost always score high stress and often high heart rate. Now it's almost always low stress and fine heart rate.
In the middle (week 4) I felt totally better and did some of your more energetic exercises and was looking forward to a new path of wellness through your teaching. I relapsed a week and a half later. I can now only handle these very easy things again, but I am grateful to have them to keep me moving, and calm my spirit. I hope I can get well and do some of the other fun stuff again. If I do heal, your videos will have been a significant part of it.
    Thank you.

Thanks for the Video! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Xeyack Qenaleb Bulldozer (should be on google have a look)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for discovering unbelievable techniques to build your Chi energy minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend Sam finally got cool results with it.

I wanted to know about Breathing Exercises. Since I have watched so many Martial Arts movies where Perfect and strong Breathing plays a vital role, I thought this would help me to make my Lungs stronger Since I have bronchitis problems
So, just now I typed " Martial arts breathing Exercises to make Lungs Strong" and found these amazingly greatly useful Breathing Exercises.
I will be using these Breathing Exercises daily and I am very sure to increase the Breathing capacity of my Lungs & also to strengthen my Lungs
I am truly grateful to this young Master Shifu Yan Xin.

Realize how this is correct functional breathing! Amazing! The sternum does not go up but rather is hold down resisting the breath pushing it out and forward . This way the Diaphragm stays involved. Also the Belly does not come forward as seen in so many 'wrong' ways. I will share you with all my clients who learn to breath correctly!

Thank you for posting another video on breathing. HAHAHA when I tried the breathing in 3 times I found my tongue did not stay relaxed but started to tense up. :))) I have added these breathing methods into my daily exercises. I am trying to integrate the breathing training into my full day. When I am waiting in line. Waiting for the water to boil. Not just when I set aside time to just focus on breathing. Gathering the flow of energy where ever I am. Hard but I think I am on the right track. Again thank you.

Thank you for this video, I combine the techniques on this video with your Ba Duan Jin video, everyday.
I have a question to ask. I want to empty my mind and focus on my breathing, but what can I do when other daily problems and worries (sometimes mortgage, sometimes expenses, or angry boss, or house repairs) come and "intrude" or "disturb" my thoughts when I am doing this breathing technique? Thank you so much for this video, it is very helpful.

In certain breathing it will expand, which we call belly breathing and some breathing it will not.
But it will not harm you or anything, but certain breathing has certain effect on body, mind or in part of it.

In lung rehabilitation there are practices that focus on making your mouth in to an "O" shape which does help get air in fast but i often find i get really anxious at rehab but in Qi Gong i don't seem to struggle as much accept sometimes my heart my heartbeats in my head but that's okay right 😊 I think you said Dantian for navel breathwork, is it the same as Manipura which in Hindi is the solar plexus chakra, our Power center, is this the same in Dantian? Probably spelt that wrong. Thank You Teacher, my breathing is improving 🙏

*Thank you* for putting this out there for us! It is _extremely_ helpful. But whenever I breathe deeply in these types of exercises, I notice that I get a little dizzy and don't seem to be able to breathe as deeply as you or others? Is this simply due to the fact that I am just starting out? Is this something that will improve with practice as I increase my lung capacity over time?
    Please, someone please help. 😟

    • @KUNGFULIFE-shifuyanxin
      @KUNGFULIFE-shifuyanxin  2 года назад +1

Hello Rose good day :) yes practice differently will improve your lungs capacity. little dizzy most likely is that your body system not used to the deep breath, so in that case when you feel little dizzy, you can stop deep breath and use smaller breath to recover, so the more you practice the system will feel safe and use to it. good luck to your training :)

    • @Rose_Bride

@@KUNGFULIFE-shifuyanxin thank you for answering. You are absolutely correct! It's been a few months now since my comment, and I can confirm that I am now able to take VERY deep breaths as well as hold my breath for longer periods of time. It really DOES get better with practice and dedication, all thanks to God! I was so scared starting out. I thought something was wrong with me, but I think maybe we just don't take deep enough breaths on a regular basis.
      Thank you!
