  • Rolex Oyster Bracelets have a 5mm easy adjustment system that allows you to quickly and easily adjust the size of the watch. This is a quick video on how to adjust it and how it works.

Thank you!!! My dad passed away and he left me his green submariner, I thought I needed to add an extra link (which I don’t have) but all I needed to do was this tiny adjustment!

Unfortunately you omitted any discussion of an important aspect of the "adjustment" feature of the Easylink bracelet....the micro-adjust slots inside the clasp! With any small spring bar tool, you can depress either side of the interior spring bar (the one inside the clasp that secures the link to the clasp) and slide the interior half-link forward or backward (depending on its existing position) a slot or two, increasing or decreasing by a few additional millimeters the bracelet length to achieve an even better fit. (Relying solely on the pull-out half-link inside the clasp, to the exclusion of the sliding capability, gives you only half the adjustment potential.) Discussion of this important added adjustment feature appears to have been completely omitted in the video (or did I just miss it?)

I have had a Yachtmaster for 20 years. I didn't know I could adjust the bracelet like this. :) Thanks.

That is something that has been added to the models during the last 15 years as they’ve been upgraded.
The Yacht-Master just got this upgrade just about 4-5 years ago.
Yours should have little holes on the side of the bracelet. You have to use a sharp tip, like a thumbtack, and push in the spring bar in order to adjust it. A little trickier.
