Hey Marc, Great video! I've owned Rolex watches for over 30 years and have a small collection. My GMT Master II was a bit loose due to some weight loss. I was about to take it to the local watchmaker as I generally do with these valuable timepieces. But before I did, figured I'd check RUclips. As I watched your video I got the extra 5 mm adjustment you spoke of. Wow, it now fits perfectly again! Thanks so much for sharing, extremely valuable info for me! Michael
Thank you Marc about telling how to adjust the watch band because I want to remove a link to get it a bit more snug on my wrist. I thought that those tiny things in the links were pins and was going to try and drive one out but you showed me that they are screws and as you were showing us that they were screws I looked at them with a magnifying glass and saw that they are screws. Now I won't try to drive the pin out. You were a big help on that. Thanx again.
I have worn my GMT II slightly loose for over four years and had no idea this type of adjustment was possible. I watched your video and made the minor adjustment on the bracelet clasp and now the watch fits perfectly! Outstanding video and thank you for making it!!!
Great info. I just realised this recently. No one who has sold me a Rolex watch has even known about this or simply didn’t bother mentioning. Great info mate ✌️
Knew about the half link, did not know about the micro adjustment. Good tip. Here's another tip. I use the rolex screwdriver/pin tool. When I'm removing or replacing a screw pin, I use my fingers as a guide and pinch the screwdriver blade so that the flat blade doesnt slip out and scratch the link. The other key is taking your time and not rushing to get the screw in or out.
I knew these adjustments but I bought a watch where you couldn’t get a tool on the spring bar inside the clasp. I watched a video about using dental floss to unhook the pin and it actually worked.
Good video Mark, thanks... I'd also recommend you use loctite thread lock to lock the thread on the screws and a watch block to hold the bracelet firmly while adding/removing links.
RichReviewsm Good advice. I’m here with a Pagani (I’ve better things to spend my money on than a Rolex) and I adjusted the strap on my “homage” (thought that might make you laugh”) and then when I was pulling an anchor up the bracelet fell apart and the whole assembly fell onto the foredeck. I picked it all up and thanked god it wasn’t worth many thousands of dollars/pounds/euros. Back home I took all the screws out and then loctited them in. I’ve not had a problem since and am now on my second Pagani. God bless aliexpress.......
Mannnn… I’ve been wearing really tight my submariner for the past year… and I lost the links to it… finally found this 😂 never knew about adjusting it this way. Cheers dude 🥂
Got mine 3 months ago and I have to say bit sceptical at first as I had never owned a Rolex. The more I wear it I can appreciate it really is a lovely watch, the quality and feel is fantastic.I dont regret a penny I paid for it,and my son has his eye on it ...in due course!
I bought a fake rolex, feels just like the real one and I can flex my coworkers my fake rolex. Why pay $10K when I can buy a $100 fake rolex that feels heavy and high quality and even has all the rolex names, symbols, colors and features on the watch. It’s a no-brainer.
Sincerely Thank you Sir, I almost bought an extra link !! thanks to you all i had to do was push back to the last dots !! thank you again for this super helpful video !
Had a problem with my GMT Master went to Wempe, they opened the back adjusted cleaned and checked for time keeping (+ 3.5) it all took about 20 minutes, they didn’t charge me a cent. If you buy from an A.D like Wempe the service is so good you don’t need to do it yourself.
Also, most places will DESTROY your watch in resizing! I am not joking. It is astounding how nearly every single place I have gone to over the years made things worse and damaged links, screws, etc. Unless it is a really good watchmaker I will do it myself.
Thank you so much for sharing this. Just adjusted my Daytona. Idk if my question will make sense but if I’m on the last dot with the link folded out to be looser, is that equivalent in size if I was to go to the next dot up but with the link folded in to be tighter?
I have a watch that has that same type of band "it not a Rolex unfortunately" and that what I was searching for how to ajust the micro adjustment and found you video, I appreciate your sharring. it the same band design but a different company.
Hi Marc , like you said some people know how to do it some don’t , I didn’t until I saw your video . Still I have a question please Can I do micro adjust from the left side where the safety goes ? Thank you
I do not need a lecture on sharp objects, thankyou! I find it very patronising. Do you think that children will be following video and attempting to adjust their Rolex watch band?
Hi Mark great video! I have read in blogs that Rolex uses lock tight on the screws, so to remove them the AD has to heat the screw up to remove it, have you ever heard of this?
It’s not the tools ! It’s the person! I bought all the best tools ! (Even a professional Jewelry bench) and just towards the end of video I popped a spring bar and now looking on carpet for it! Swear to God! Funny if not true..! But whew I just found it! MORE PRACTICE !!
Marc, I have a 1992 Sub with a stainless/gold very loose/stretched out Oyster band. It only has two screws near the clasp but the rest of the links are so stretched out, it's ridiculous. I can't figure out how to remove the links that don't have screws. I am hoping to take the gold sleeve that runs down the center of the bracelet and put a more pronounced "C" shape to it in hopes of bringing the links together. Is there a tool out there that will pull open those screwless links? Or...do you have a better suggestion how to tighten u this watch band?
Hey Marc! Do you know how many MM there are in between the 3 micro-adjustments on the Rolex clasp? I can’t get any real solid info on this. I measured it and it seems like it’s 1/8 of an inch apart which converts to roughly 3mm. Is this correct? Thanks Marc.
Hey Marc random question! How many of the same Rolex model does an AD get annually? Just guess... my AD called me and said I’m number 3 for the hulk and Daytona... I’ve gotten the Batman at the same place.. thanks
Marc, this is why I gladly pay $20.00 to be fitted by a professional jeweler, measuring cases with steel calipers and now dental tools and worn out screw drivers makes my OCD scream! I felt like I was watching "Marathon Man"! IS IT SAFE?
I removed a bracelet from an Omega Seamaster once - so as to put the NATO strap on. It was....how shall we say?....an "interesting" experience. One thing is absolutely for sure: nobody aside from a seasoned professional is going to adjust one of my Rolex watches! :-0

Thank you for this video! You saved me a trip to the jeweler!!
Funny I had the exact same issue. AD did not adjust, so I did it myself, took a link out and made the microadjust. So I used your video Marc!
Thanks a lot man this helped me out tons. I’ve had my GMT for months and never even knew about this micro adjustment
thank you very much for the upload. i was able to adjust my pagani 1651 the same way. stay healthy
Thank you, Mark. I needed to move my bracelet to the largest setting.

The glide lock adjustable bracelet is a godsend
Thank you! Need to adjust the micro adjustment next
Best explanation I’ve seen on the ezlink. Thanks!

Had my rolex for a week. Adjusted the whole thing all by myself lmao. Thanks for the video cheers!
Thank you so much! I have owned mine for such a long time and NO ONE told me about the easy link before. Now it finally fits as it should.
Good video Mark, thanks...
I'd also recommend you use loctite thread lock to lock the thread on the screws and a watch block to hold the bracelet firmly while adding/removing links.

I'm a 15 year old hustler, helped me with my first timepiece, youre like my second dad haha!
Happy to help. What’s your hustle where you got a Rollie already?
Mannnn… I’ve been wearing really tight my submariner for the past year… and I lost the links to it… finally found this 😂 never knew about adjusting it this way. Cheers dude 🥂
commentary at the end is funny and spot on.
Thank You! Was going to bring my watch in to get I adjusted after gaining weight, but a dental tool fixed my issues in 2 minutes

Welcome to the world of Rolex.
Same here but havent had the chance to wear it yet since I cant get the links off anywhere due to lockdown!
I bought a fake rolex, feels just like the real one and I can flex my coworkers my fake rolex. Why pay $10K when I can buy a $100 fake rolex that feels heavy and high quality and even has all the rolex names, symbols, colors and features on the watch. It’s a no-brainer.
@@DubSalvation it’s actually extremely easy to do yourself brother
And then his son… and his son. Godwilling
Thank you for the great video! Much appreciated
This was exactly what I needed to find thanks for making such a great video!
Thanks Marc! Now i was finally able to get my oyster to the PERFECT size!
Wanted you to show us how easy you said it was!!
Sincerely Thank you Sir, I almost bought an extra link !! thanks to you all i had to do was push back to the last dots !! thank you again for this super helpful video !
Interesting video Mr. Goldberg.
Thanks Marc, great video !!
Mr. goldberg can you tell me what mm’s driver should i use and the brand too. Thanks
Thanks for the video, there are always things to learn about watches and there are always newbies to the watch illness 👍
This is some sort of secret I swear. thanks for sharing
Great video very helpful !!!!
Picked up my Daytona today! Good info, this is my first Rolex.
thanks for the info!

Precise and clear. Thank you very much.

Excellent Buddy! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Just love the BATMAN just a little more don't ya?😉
Well now that it’s expensive!
This is awesome. I didn’t know there were micro-adjustments with easy link.
I have a watch that has that same type of band "it not a Rolex unfortunately" and that what I was searching for how to ajust the micro adjustment and found you video, I appreciate your sharring. it the same band design but a different company.
What is the spacing between each micro adjustment hole, please?
Get a hollow T driver 1.6 like the Panerai one for the screw links..
The “Bruce Wayne” is a suitable name for the jubilee bracelet BLNR, it’s sophisticated
Hi Marc , like you said some people know how to do it some don’t , I didn’t until I saw your video .
Still I have a question please
Can I do micro adjust from the left side where the safety goes ?
Thank you
Thank you!!! I was able to adjust my watch on my own ❤️
This was *really* helpful thanks!
Useful thanks
I do not need a lecture on sharp objects, thankyou! I find it very patronising. Do you think that children will be following video and attempting to adjust their Rolex watch band?
Good shit bruh thanks G money
great video!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Thank you.
Thanks for the vid! Is the space between each of the micro adjust holes less than the 5mm easy link adjustment?
It is 3mm.
Thanks Marc, able to wear the watch properly now :)
Hi Mark great video! I have read in blogs that Rolex uses lock tight on the screws, so to remove them the AD has to heat the screw up to remove it, have you ever heard of this?
Same
Steel Stunners and Mark thank you for letting me know, you shouldn’t have to run to an AD to add or take links off lol
@@marcgoldbergdogtrainer Interesting. So you've never had to use Loctite 222 or 242 threadlock for peace of mind to keep the screws from backing out?
Thank you for this!
Why didn't do micro adjustment with spring bar, sir? Just talked.
It’s not the tools ! It’s the person! I bought all the best tools ! (Even a professional Jewelry bench) and just towards the end of video I popped a spring bar and now looking on carpet for it! Swear to God! Funny if not true..! But whew I just found it! MORE PRACTICE !!
you are my favorite Marc ;)
Thanks mate!
It worked!!!!!
Guys place a couple of layers of scotch tape over the work area and the bracelet screw to keep from scratching it with the screwdriver. 😀❤⌚
I, can,t the 13mm end bar spring bin. Just bounced away any suggestions. Thanks
Good vid thanks! Love my YMII.
Well it's helping me with my new Explorer.
Hi, can someone tell me the distance between the 3 wholes in clasp?

The bigger ADs get more and the smaller ones get fewer but sounds like you’re in a pretty good position
Useful video 🙏🏻
Let's face it, that is NOT an easy link system. They need to use the system on the Sub for EVERY SS sports watch. Simple as that.
Amen sister amen 🙏
Yep. When do wrists expand by 5mm. Come on Rolex, be sensible.
This IS an easylink system. The clasp on the sub is glidelock. But yeah I agree with you they should put glidelock on all sports models.
Glidelock is incredible
Makes it a lot easier to seperate the bracelet first
Is it risky to leave that 5mm adjustment open?
Marc, this is why I gladly pay $20.00 to be fitted by a professional jeweler, measuring cases with steel calipers and now dental tools and worn out screw drivers makes my OCD scream! I felt like I was watching "Marathon Man"! IS IT SAFE?
😂
So if i were to use the most inner hole, can i still shorten the 5mm link somemore? Like close it
Thanks!!!
Just realised my explorer 1 6 digit has micro and not been wearing as its a little tight an the 5ml will do it.
Thank's a lot online friend!
Good Video and helpful but you should work on your watch on a soft service or a Towel of some sort not a wooden table.
Batman hasn't been discontinued! They've upgraded/updated it. The black black black has been discontinued.
Was the explorer discontinued? When updated it - changed the case size, lumed the numbers etc.. No!
Just bought a used 2016 black black black...yes discontinued. Just unboxed and viewed ur EZ lock instruction...thx 👍🏻
Batgirl has a way better movement and anyone who has tried both says the new one with jubilee is way more comfortable.
Any knows what the distance is between the holes in the clasp?
3mm
Marc you must be good at doing dental work on dogs, you still have 10 fingers.
I removed a bracelet from an Omega Seamaster once - so as to put the NATO strap on. It was....how shall we say?....an "interesting" experience.
One thing is absolutely for sure: nobody aside from a seasoned professional is going to adjust one of my Rolex watches! :-0
Just like the old brassiere commercials. 🤪
what screwdriver does he use anyone?
using a screwdriver as a pointer on a rolex. you can hear it scratching. lol
How many mm is the fine adjustment per dot?
3mm per Rolex.
So you spend $10K + on a watch and then cheap out on taking it to a pro for adjusting the clasps?
youAbajajTube why would waste time on going to someone to unscrew some screws?
Good content, sound is too low.
Springbar tools aren't expensive.
1 Mon video made into 10
good video, but you only need a link removed once, so have a pro do it and sleep well.
My clasp isn’t like this
Beep Beep. Just like the old brassiere commercials? You noticed?
🙄
