I did 26.6 on my Afikim c3 And the gauge didn’t even drop I was literally driving all day it was crazy if I turned the scooter all the way up I was able to reach 11 mph you guys are awesome
Your Yapping is NEVER BORING, Sergio ... on the contrary, your Commentaries are highly educational. We can learn so much from watching your presentations - many thanks for taking the time and trouble for sharing them with us. One thing I would say, Sergio, is that your extensive Testing was carried out in a FLAT TERRAIN, whereas, typically, many Users would perform their itineraries in varying conditions, ie. with inclines, etc. Carrying weight, as in grocery shopping, for example, would invariably affect the range too. Interesting experiment, however, in any case - Lithium is definitely the optimal option.🙏🇬🇧
These vids are so helpful! I'm sold on the lithium thing and I will be going this route soon. Unfortunately it will have to be via mail but I'm definitely subscribed and TY very much as this scooter newbie has learned a lot watching you guys the past few days. :)
I just installed two new Mighty Max 22ah SLA batteries in my Elite Traveler battery box. I'm using a small hand truck to lug the thing around, too heavy for me to carry nowadays. May convert to Lithium later on. Really enjoy Sergio's videos.
Hi I have a go-go pride traveler that has the standard sealed lead battery. I recently spent half a day at Disney World Epcot using my scooter. After only a couple of hours my scooter battery went into the orange stage and I had to drop it off at their scooter rental place to charge it (thankfully I brought it’s charger) I’ve watched your lithium battery upgrade and I’ll be at your Deerfield store to get the batteries. I plan on going to more theme parks so I really need longer life batteries for my Go-go Pride 4 wheel traveler scooter. Thanks for the videos. I’m a new subscriber 😊
Hi Suzie! It was so great meeting you and your granddaughter today :) We are so glad we had the lithium upgrades in stock for you, definitely let us know how far our Dakota batteries get you and your Elite Traveller!
Maybe you can help I ordered lithium batteries from Dakota and the charger they sent has to be hooked directly to the batteries. Is there another charger that you can just plug into the scooter or battery box without having to open the battery box?
Yes, everyone who orders Dakota Lithium batteries through our company gets an additional charger, here's the link to it: www.mobilityscootersdirect.com/pride-mobility/upg-universal-power-group-3-5ah-xlr-lithium-ion-off-board-battery-charger.html
Many thanks again for all your instructional and comparative videos on batteries. It has been really entertaining and informative.Greetings from Bradenton FL
When I got brand new sealed gel batteries put in my pride victory 10 scooter that I have had for about 2 years, they lasted me almost a full 2 and a half days while my husband and I went fishing for 2 days. When we got home. It still took another day and a half after we got home before the gage started going down.
please think about a presentation of the Baja mobility scooter to the Oklahoma VA so it can be an option for us vets that would like to go more places like at a lake or something we need this to be an option for disabled vets everywhere. The only option presented to us is the pride victory 10 and it doesn't handle rough terrain.
We would absolutely love to, however, the VA deals directly with Pride and does so with many contracts. They can only contract so many models, and I'm not sure that they would add the Raptor because it is "recreational".
@@MobilityDirect That really makes me sad to hear that news. But thank you for replying and I understand. Just would have made a way for me to be able to go to the lakes and things in bad terrain areas around here in Oklahoma.
Loved your video. I have two questions. 1 What app did you use to track the miles. 2 what was name of the battery monitor I would like to get one of them
Thanks for watching our video and commenting! We used the Zeopoxa Cycling app but you can similar apps of your preference. For the battery volt meter, you can get one from Amazon and use an XLR USB charger attachment. You can visit the links below for more info or give our non-commissioned sales expert a call at 888-263-5601. www.amazon.com/Battery-Setting-Capacity-Indicator-Monitors/dp/B093KTM1PS/ www.mobilityscootersdirect.com/pride-mobility/pride-xlr-usb-charger.html
I picked up one of those with a lot of miles on it but it was still in good shape, I did however have to put new grease in the rear end the old grease was worn out and dragging the motor down but the gears still looked new. Now my amperage is way less when I take off and driving I used world war II lithium grease from a army can that's some good Grease.

I’m going to be leaving batteries for my buzz around LX, 2 battery system. Are there lithium batteries available for those battery boxes also? It would be better to buy lithium. if I need a new batteries this year anyway
09:18 Perhaps if you used a 14 or 15 series (reference 48v chart at 10:00 7 series on 24 v ) Lifepo4 battery then the capacity chart would line up better within the parameters of the lead acid power meter and thus no need for a different meter. Maybe not even need a different charger also.👍 Thanks for the video

Once its available you will see the option to include the meter in the check out options for the lithium upgrade kits. www.mobilityscootersdirect.com/more/replacement-batteries-and-chargers/batteries/lithium-batteries.html?part_brand=966
@@MobilityDirect Do the lithium batteries give any extra torque so it might be a little better while driving on the Grass? Also you should consider if the original equipment battery meter can be modified by adding some kind of kit in line, as opposed to adding an additional completely different meter and having the OE meter remain in place and not functioning properly. Also it is also possible that someone makes a lithium meter that can be substituted in place of the original meter.

😂 Cruise Control & a Trip Odometer would be nice! And maybe an odometer or runtime clock, which would help used scooter buyers or even trade-in evaluators.
I just bought a drive spitfire 3 wheel. I am 300+ and find the scooter works well on grass but is very unstable laterally. I love the scooter but the included 12AH sla batteries failed just the day after the warranty ended. I was afraid that it took a new speed controller to go lithium. It is very easy, even for a 73 year old fat man, to change the batteries.
Hi, I sent you a pm (via messenger) to get a little more info on the battery level meter used in this vid but keep getting an "insurance" related response.
The battery meter we are using for testing is not yet available for purchase. We will announce the release of the meter once we have conducted more tests and offer it for sale on our website with an XLR plug.

I need a new scooter pretty badly. I'm completely unable to even take one step on my left leg due to a broken medical screw in my left pelvic bone, my sciatic nerve and bulging disc/degenerative discs. I am completely reliant on my scooter to get me anywhere. My scooter broke down last week and I have not been able to get around at all by myself. And it takes so long to even get an answer from the insurance and the therapy place I get mine from. I also need a 4-wheeler because I can't seem to not fall out of the three-wheeler. My balance has become a big challenge lately as well. God, please help me win a scooter. Good luck to everyone.

Does the heat play a part in how long the battery will last?
I will say, if you leave the batteries in a hot car for a long period of time, it is definitely going to effect them !

Yes you can!
Any word on meter tester for those who are not electrical minded?
