Great Performance Eddie and Pearl Jam. Although always gorgeous I have never seen someones looks change so much over the years as Eddie. Same mannerisms and voice, eyes and smile, some aspects of Eddie never change. But I love him at any age. Especially now 👏👏💖💖
I love when i come back to this video every few years, see this comment and vehemently agree, and then see that i made the original comment. Happens ever 3-4 years.
God I miss the 00s for giving us rock performances like this. And Letterman being right on Broadway, had the best "live" feeling and frequent great artists, including the Beastie Boys walking in from the street. It was a great decade and I'm glad I was the perfect age to enjoy it all.
I know this video from the early days, but always missed the pre intro part. Thank you for sharing thie whole version. Best version of this song I've ever heard, BTW.
"yeah that'll get you some place" "did you sleep alright last night" has there been a better dry comedian than Letterman? Such a naturally hilarious dude. Plus Stone Gossard face-melting solo, great video thanks for sharing
Seen PJam 5 times. But the show less than yr fr this performance? Summer 2003, Kansas City in a thunderstorm was epic. Eddie was wasted cuz 2hr RAIN delay...and so were we 😉

Only band I know? First 4 albums absolute MASTERPIECEs. (10, Vs, Vitalogy, NC) Plus all 4 sound completely different. Then nxt Tier PJam albums, are very good.. (Yield, Binaural & Riot Act.)
First two records sucked . They are embarrassing . like finding the love of your life when are young and spending your whole life with her and when you’re both 60 walking around with a picture of her when she was 14 when you first met. You’d look like a pedophile So people who like those first two albums are pretty much pedophiles . Look it up
I agree. His hair needs to be able to move around when he moves his head and fly when he jumps. I guess that's why he stepped away from this length after a while.
@@featheryfemme didn't they cut all their hair off to protest the iraq war or something when they played for the troups? Ed also had a mohawk for awhile and he said he was angry at what was going on in iraq and the only thing he could take it out on was his own hair.
@@featheryfemme i think he looks too naked without it, like a lion without it's mane. or he looks too normal or something. definitely glad he's kept it a little longer since then.

In October 2003 he grew it out and dyed it blonde if you check Benyaora Hall show on 10/22/03. By 2005 it was long.
Cuff me, there are two butterscotch telecasters in this. Love it!

His looks haven't changed- he's PERFECT!¡!
Pearl Jam is like a secret we all cherrish somewhere deep in our hearts! Thanks PJ
It's not a secret for me.
That riff that Stone starts at 5:27 could go for the rest of time and I'd never get sick of it
Stone is simply LEGEND

Great song.
Tp10 fav Pjam song.
Riot Act super underrated
I’ve been looking FOREVER for a Stone solo holy fuck yes
He does the solos on do the evolution and not for you as well.
Stone and Mike both sporting Blackguard Teles. They don't do that enough.
I love this freakin song, and I noticed Jeff is wearing a Metallic shirt, wow!! Eddie looks gorgeous like always!!
I like how early 2000s pearl jam always looks like a bunch of uncles on their day off
A bunch of cool uncles
Thank you so much for sharing this.
when did Stone Gossard transform into Rick Moranis
Thats some funny shit lol,, Yeah i can see the similarities lol
Mike looks like Harland Williams. PJ is turning into a Canadian comic troupe!
there is only the keymaster
Short haired Stone always reminded me of Bob Saget lol

This shure is a masterpiece of all the fuckin' times
Mannnn, I love Pearl Jam ❤️🤘
❤❤I like it❤❤😮
Love their riot act eddie vedder hair style
La amistad por sobre todo!!!
I bought "Riot Act" THE DAY it came out in Fall02.
"Riot Act" is criminally UNDERRATED.
Its also imo? PJam's last good album fr strt-finish.
Stone!!!!!!!
Junto com No code e binaural riot act são meus álbuns preferido e olha que já escutei praticamente tudo da banda desde 1996 até os dias de hoje ...
Double Telecaster !!!!
Love seeing Stone take all those leads
02:14
what a lovely tribute to James brown
Wdym?
Eddie looks like James T Kirk here :-) love PJ.
haha true!
He looks like everyone’s father.
Is he saying "cuff" instead?
Noah Woodworth curse, I think
@@Laurendowling1999 he's saying kcuf, fuck backwards which is the original lyric.
I think he's saying cut me instead of f me
STONE
Lol Vedder looked 25 years older than he actually was this tour.
He looks so much better with long hair. I noticed some of his mannerisms from the early days for the first time in a while.
NO, HE LOOKS FABULOUS I 6:10 N THIS!!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Do I see matching guitars?
The Al, Mon, D laced flower
Pearl Jam in Dads Mode
rock the hardest.
Kcuf me are the best words for me after now
Jeff Ament sporting a Metallica shirt? Wouldn't have figured that
It actually says Montana, but it's shaped like the Metallica logo.

Who played before em?
Hate that they have to change lyrics for the sake of live TV, fuck me!!!😎

Get off the stage Paul
Sloppy drumming.
