- I’m 35 years old and I’m preparing for my Hysterectomy surgery. I’ve had a lot going on with my health when it comes to this and I wanted to share some of my journey with you all and maybe this vlog will help someone else.

Hope everything went well. I know what you mean about nerves. This is the weekend before I have surgery Monday on my back. Sunday we have to travel 4 hours to the hospital stay the night at a hotel and then be at hospital that morning. So much I would like to do before I go but my back hurts to much. Hope you are recovery well and have a blessed Thanksgiving. Be safe.

my hysterectomy which was just the 29th of oct i was allowed nothing to eat or drink after midnight told me i could take my pain med with a sip of water that was it. didnt have to do a bowel prep tho thank god sounds like a nitemear

I had a hysterectomy 20 yrs ago all is well to this day. I still have both ovaries but cervix and uterus removed vaginally and was out of the hospital next day

Lol I’m also curious!!! Idk how much they weigh but I will be doing a surgery vlog so I will be talking about that in there. Currently I’m sitting in the hospital bed so it won’t be long now 😊

I have my surgery in a few weeks but I also have 2 toddlers and nobody to help me afterwards. Definitely worried about how to manage kids and rest..😬
I wish you all the luck with your surgery! I really hate you won’t have help after. I’d ask everyone you can for atleast a couple days. Please take it as easy as possible ❤️
@@Life_WithLala thank you for the well wishes. I'm prepping meals ahead of time so that will help. I homeschool the kids so we might take a break for the week to lessen the load. I feel better equipped after watching your journey. 💖

Do you have to take hormones after hysterectomy?
Everyone is different. I had my ovaries removed a couple years before my hysterectomy so I was already on hormone replacement due to that. Usually though if you keep ovaries you don’t need hormones. Just check with your doctor.
@@Life_WithLala would you recommend to only 'take out' the womb to stop the period or what must I do to stop my period when I get to the pink tablets of Trisequens hormone treatment. I'm 58 now
@@louisettaschmidt1208 I wouldn’t recommend anything. I’d speak to my doctor to see what they think is best. Everyone’s body is different so it’s really going to depend on you and your health ❤️
