This is such a helpful video. I was complaining about Modern and Massive not having a stack and how it would be literally the best drum library one could possibly get with a stack cymbal. Turns out I just need to save up and get another kit.
I have a question about the unprocessed sounds of all the GGD drum libraries and is about the intensity of the sounds which I believe are very good , but also very loud (out of the box) If you want to have a healthy amount of head room for the rest of the instruments in the master bus ,can you lower the level through the Kontakt volume control ???(up left corner) If you do that ,is there a chance of having problems with the samples of the plugin? Also does anybody have a recommendation about gain staging the GGD libraries? Thanks for any given answers. Cheers.
8 gigs of ram and my macbook can hardly even run one dry stereo instance of GGD despite being able run 60 other plugins with no problem. Really disappointing.
Real talk: No one LIKES to use Kontakt. All of these samples should be contained in one plug in if you own them to swap in and out. They sound great, but it'd just be SUCH an easy fix to have them all available in one place.
Agreed kontakt isn't a smooth experience but there is a lot going on. Multiple layers of different hits, different mic sounds for every individual drum are being triggered by the sample engine. Just play a short midi clip and you'll see the count of sound files currently playing jump into the hundreds. Not something you want a deal with manually.

A tip : you can watch movies on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

Do it. It's probably one of the most affordable drum midi programs and it sounds great right out of the box.
Is there a distinct difference between the room sounds when you do this or does everything sound cohesive between the 2 libraries?

Hey, I was using the Matt Halpern Kit the other day and was wondering what's the difference between "multi-out" and "multi-out adv."?
Can you do this with any drum program that goes through kontakt? As i have Battery in kontakt and can maybe knick some cymbals from there?
Does this mean there is a way to use the turbo function with the matt halpern library?

Kontakt crashed every time I tried to clear the mapping… :/ Anyone else having this problem om MAC?
my biggest issue was always not having 3 crashes. Now i can have 4 =D

It would be really nice if it was all in one plugin, but I have a feeling if they did that the price of it would be a LOT more like SD is.
