A busy Saturday morning at Innsbruck Airport on January 13th 2018. Busy time of year for the Alps and particularly at the weekends. Lots of Ski Charters! All of this footage was filmed in just over 2 hours from around 9am until just before lunch time. Shame there was no snow on the ground, it can just be seen on the beautiful landscape on the top of the mountains. Temperature was very cold this morning, sitting at 0 degrees.

Thomson (TUI) 757's & 737's, British Airways A320, Thomas Cook A321's, Transavia 737's, EasyJet A320's, Austrian ERJ190, Dash8's & A319, Germanwings A319, SAS 737's, FlyGBRA Avro146 and a good handful of private jets.
Innsbruck is definitely one of the most scenic airports in Europe. The entire city and airport sits in a valley in the middle of the Alps surrounded by stunning landscape. Well worth a visit if you've not been.

I was wondering if anything had ever gone into those mountains after takeoff. There doesn't appear to have been, although there was a bizjet that crashed on approach once, I see.
