What's your most memorable commentary moment in Cricket history?
ravi shastri asking yuvraj paji after six sixes
Geoffrey boycott on that straight six by tendulkar in 1998 desert storm match
For me it would be...."Annnddd Dhoni finishes off in style"
Whadda playa!! Whadda wundaful playa!! Tony Grieg - Sachin - Sharjah - desert storm
Dhoni Dhoni finishes it in style
It is such fun to see the best cricket interviewer of this generation (GK) interview the greatest cricket commentator of all time (Harsha) and talking about another legendary cricket commentator!! (AFT)
happy to bring these stories to you
AFS Talyarkhan was a legend! I still remember listening to his broadcast on Vividh Bharati where he spoke on various sports for 15 minutes. He loved football too. He used to say it was a people's game! You just need a ball and some place to play it. The rest are your skills!
Absolutely!
Harsha Bhogle is an emotion. Period.
we agree
Harsha is the ultimate story teller. Very much like Morgan Freeman is for Hollywood.
Harsha makes you smile right from within, you don't have to move your lips.
Lol, morgan freeman is just voice. Harsha is everything !
@@singhalarjun19haha for a cricket crazy nation, yeah he's god's voice but not everything literally, i guess you didn't mean it. We got 10 nations playing world cup cricket out of 200, teenage buddy.
I know what i meant when i made the comparison 😀.Cheers
I completely agree
Gaurav don't look for likes and views for this one...He is a gem of a person.
😂😂😂
Because JATIN SAPRU
I always enjoyed Harsha commentary because he brings elements to the scene with technical facts.
On the same fact, I like Gaurav as well. He is an intelligent person and he can mingle with anyone in minutes. He can bring the best out of you. A friend like Gaurav in your life will always keep you positive and charged.
Wowwww... Loving these exceptional stories..... I don't know why...but Harsha Bhogle's voice here seems more euphonoius !!!
Somany memories..but commentary during India winning World Cup 2011 will be remembered forever...
absolutely!
99 out of 100 people says ...
Dhoni finish off in style....
But for me,"Dada removes off his jersey" The iconic commentary moment was "Throw and a miss they gonna run for 2 India home, lord's gone wild,Zaheer khan punches air Kaif goes to celebrate with fans"
If you are wondering what is this..#Natwest series final...
oh wow, those are some great ones.
This is not just amazing, these are fascinating tales! Legendary! Thanks GK for this, we wouldn't have known :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
I can listen to Harsha 24*7. Such a humble person he is.
so true
His podcast mission isro is a treat to listen to.
And gaurav we love u. You are also better when u talk cricket. U and harsha make good combination 👌👌
Absolute legend. Proud of his achievements. Hyderabad loves you!
I am Dr. Amogh.Assist Professor in English in Government Degree College in Bangalore. Iam one of the biggest cricket fans ever. My favourite commentary moments are:
Desert storm -Sharja 96
Sourav Ganguly the Indian captain Centerbits-Lords 2000
Gavaskar celebrating India's win in Adilade 2003
Has he ? Yes he has- Yuvraj Singh 6th six against England in 2007 T20 World Cup.
Worthy of a final- 2007 T20 World Cup final.
Dhoni Finishes off in style-2011 World Cup winning hit.
Remember the name Carlos Brathwaite- 2016 T20 World Cup final.
Above all
Iconic Commentary which showcased the feelings of the little master after the fall of last wicket of West Indies in his last match by a gentleman called Harsha Bhogle.
thanks for sharing!
2007 T20 final last wicket - In the air, Sreesanth, takes it.
Goosebump moment
Amazing Insights!.Love this guy again and again for his humbleness! Thanks GK!
Watching due to Harsha 😃
He inspires us for being positive with having magnificent energy.
lovely!
Not many remember this though but one of the most intense match:
Champions Trophy Final Last ball bowl:Ashwin bat:James Tredwell then Harsha on comm. box: Tredwell Misses, Dhoni Misses but it doesn't matter...
Magnificent strike into the crowd.. India lifts the worldcup after 28 years... party starts in dressing room..it's the Indian captain who is absolutely fantastic in the night of final
That was Ravi Shastri
These series disclose so many stories. Feels like yes "someone is making a painting in front of you". Absolutely, loved it. Good work GK & Harsha bhogle as usual class!

Thank you for telling us about ATST! Had no idea about cricket from those times. Literally opens up a new era of cricket for me to explore. Thank you Mr. Bhogle.
I am ready to hear harsha sir whole day anytime. For each match.
Great gentleman and best commentator.
I Remember Gaurav Being The Cheeky Lanky Anchor From the First Seaons of IPL and Now Look At Him and What he has Achieved.
My Heart Goes Out to Him 💕
i could listen to these guys forever and not get bored..
same to same
These are conversations one should enjoy with a bottle of whiskey .. cheers .. 🥃 !!
Oh yes!
I can listen to them all day.
I hope some day, Gaurav, Harsha, Joy, Jadeja and Vaughan make a cricket documentary on or do an analysis of any cricket tournament.
They all have their own opinions and they bring something different to the table. Miss the IPL just to listen to them
awesome idea!
Dear GK, please have BwC episode with Harsha. He has a lot of stories which we would love to hear.
6 min and 30 sec is so so less. I can listen to them on and on and on ....
More coming your way!
I wish this show would have been 1 hour or more. Harsha sir can cover up many episodes if he starts talking cricket. And we would never get bored.
harsha bhogle voice is music to ears
I heard the Podcast already but somehow the Vidcast has got a different vibe to it altogether. I wish Oaktree Sports releases complete videos of these Podcasts. I am sure it will gain much more attention.

Harsha is my favourite commentator. 👍👍
Harsha still can anyday do solo commentary 🤩
Why you not putting whole interview? Why? This bit & piece clips.....my god
Bhogle Sahab's hindi is too impressive.❤
Harsha Best Indian cricket presenter/commentator of all time interviewed by the best Indian cricket interviewer of all time. Woah!
Why's there no video for this entire episode on the internet.
Hands down these are the best cricket podcasts out there. The ones from UK/Aus come nowhere close!!
Each episode is Golden. Any plans for season 2?
Thank you :)
Voice of cricket 🏏

Please bring in Champions of Commentary at BWC too!
Can we get full videos please? I do have Spotify subscription but I want with video.
Keep watching this space :)
I know it must be tiring for him to sit alone and talk 2 hours alone, but u can hear you Harsha for whole day. Still the best voice doing commentary is yours, chahe Hindi ho ya English ❤️
Anyone got access to Talyarkhan's commentary?
Harsha's got an elephant memory, Unbelievable knowledge of the game, 🐐 commentator.
The show must be continued
Thank you!!
🙏🙏
Look at his knowledge. This is very bad when people like Sanjay Manjrekar insulted him. Disrespectful
WHen did that happen ? and what did Manjrekar say ?
Recent series in New Zealand probably
Please start cricket. Want to hear Harsha bhogle commentary
Sharja!
Desert Strom Matches...
good one!
How many are going to Google Talyarkhan now?
you must!
“Dhoni finishes off in style. A magnificent strike into the crowd! India lift the World Cup after 28 years!”
That was Ravi Shastri
we might joke about ravi shastri about drinking, but those words will remain immortal.
the chills
@@aadi_c_official and?
10 hrs of commentary ! And doing it alone with nobody else is really pathetic situation 😂
Rectangular table would have been a lot better....
@Gaurav I don’t understand what’s so cool about downing a bottle of whiskey everyday and about not wanting to share a commentary room? When you call such things as “cool” you are misleading the young minds of the country into believing that acts of stubbornness and non-professionalism are “cool”.
