How Dhoni has handled Badrinath at Csk is really note worthy.

      @robinsmith3149 4 года назад +34

@@KunalBESRA27 Dhoni used him as an anchor. Because of having a strong middle order batsman who can hold the innings together, Csk would attack fearlessly without fearing batting collapses.
So if the top 3 went early, he would come in at 4 and hold the innings together.
And if the top order gave the team a good start like 100-1 in 12 overs, they would push him down the order and let the power hitters in Dhoni, Morkel, Bravo take over.
Badrinath scored 1441 runs @30.65 striking at 120 with 11 fifties for Csk in 95 matches
      He scored 984 runs ( nine 50s) at No. 4 in 25 innings @41 striking at 120.

"I can Die For Such a Captain"- It's a Famous Quote By Yuvraj Singh For Sourav Ganguly.
Personally, I always have a Great Respect For Dada. In One Word As a Captain He Brought a Revolution in Indian Cricket. He actually Changed the Mindset of Indian Cricket, He actually Built the Core of a new Indian Team. Nowadays, There is Negativity about Him. But in His all Previous Interviews, He Always Praised Virat as a Great Batter. For me, He is One of the Greatest and most Impactful Captains For India. I dont understand a thing that why virat is not accepted as a captain by many cric lovers or by many experts. Look at his records ,look at his approach, look at his aggression man, while his strategic move as a captain we feel the same heat as virat feels. He brings the soul to a game . Look at it man . I understand rohit sharma has good record and should be captaining. But why not virat wtf has he done wrong? People and expert should understand one simple thing its not always virat would do the same as dhoni did in his captaincy he do something different. Becuz he is a diff being. Diff thoughts, he has bring a very positive change to a indian cricket that will last for many more years. And one more here is my thought that why do we like more of a rohit sharma captaincy and not virat kohli becuz rohits captaincy is some simillar to dhonis captaincy and virat is totally different. Many says that he drops players so much and give the best chance to a player. But the quality of cricket which is going on a international level is not matching their approach and stats so the player is being drop . If the right thing at the right time is done by the player than virat is kinda man he will give a very long run for a player of such talent. Now people will say he is a virat fan but no i m a proud indian cricket fan . What say gaurav about this long essay 😉.❤For u from lonavala.

Sourav did build a great team and most importantly instilled the self confidence in players that lacked the players of 90s and 80s due to regional biasedness, insecurity, etc. But Dhoni's lacked captaincy skills in tests. in fact his record abroad is worst. whatever he won was only due to sehwags and gamblers contribution at top. Once they are dropped, India's record abroad is very bad. But Dhonis captaincy in ODI and T20 are better than Sourav and Virat. So interms of Test captaincy Sourav was the best and next comes Virat

I think sourav ganguly is the best captain india had ever ..... Although dhoni's success is more than sourav but the essence of achieving success ,the belief ...that yes we can win anywhere against any opposition is what ganguly made indian team capable of....And one more thing Gaurav sir the interview with sourav ganguly was awesome ❣️...one day i will meet you gaurav sir....🤝🤝✌️

you can't judge like that, in one hand u have Dada who paved the path and in other hand it's MS who not only followed the path but also he surpass the legacy, also don't forget that Greg Chappel period, we were in terrible condition when MS led us in to '07 WC.

As usual everyone forgets Dravid’s contribution as captain. The guy who forced India to chase - eventually leading to a 2011 chase with conviction.

The problem with Kohli’s captaincy is he is very impatient and he is result oriented. The reason why India doesn’t have stable middle order in ODIs is the result of his impatience.

one thing people don't point out that during dhoni captaincy his spin tactics were totally no use in overseas matches and india was 7th in test so virat and ganguly are better test captains then dhoni

    Ganguly is the best.
If Ganguly wouldn't have been the BCCI President at present,Dhoni would have been easily asked to retire.Ganguly always supports his juniors and teammates. But nobody had the guts to speak for him when he was struggling.

Special mention to Sachin Tendulkar for carrying the team on his shoulder through the difficult period in the 90s (match fixing, tough era for batsmen).

He did more than that. He showed how to make money by signing contracts. Money angle was very important. So did Ganguly. Dada and Dhalmia bought high profile sponsors for team India .

Not only that sachin played with diffrnt generations and he adapted and got along fine... Pure professional in my view.
Sachin is... U know i have no words for him.
Played under kapil, azhar, sourav, rahul, dhoni and still stood out as the best Player for his captain ❤❤❤

Look till 2019 every time CSK qualified for Play-off and most time finals.(8)
And these times Csk didn't qualify how people started criticizing Ms dhoni ,his family. Shame on that people.
Even Mumbai Indians haven't done what Csk had done.
Ganguly made Dhoni Star and people is comparing both.
Dhoni made Kohli and Rohit star and people are now comparing both with MS instead of supporting three of them.
