Kohli goes out of the Ground Vs Shot of emperor emphasizes different aspects of what's transpiring... one is factual, one is metaphorical... different commentators have different styles ... he is just a complete professional of his art; if there are 10 sub-topics in his art, may be he is not 10/10 in all... overall he is 9/10 and that's what we all admire and the reason why we are all even discussing on youtube - commenting and expressing our views.
The last question and the corresponding response are the highlights of the video. I didn't expect to feel so emotional while listening to a Harsha Bhogle interview. But such is the ease with which he is able to open your eyes without for a second coming across as superficial or "biased", that you can't help but be filled with pride that one of the greatest cricket commentators is from our neck of the woods.
What makes Harsha Bhogle the most loved and respected broadcaster can be the subject of a day long discussion in itself...because he comes across with a different facet to his personality in almost every second frame!! Undiluted speaking skills, unblemished control over multiple languages, an unadulterated, almost childlike innocence and a deep commitment to his trade...are just a few of his traits. That even he had to undergo the pain of being marked in masked attacks is at once an indication of the latent competitive risks in the high profile profession that he struts. That a skill that we see as rare in cricket broadcasting in India should fall prey to such machinations is itself a sad commentary on the evils prevalent all walks of life, including strangely tge world of sport.
....like Gaurav Kapur spoke in one if his sessions with Harsha, you can't keep genuine quality down for too long..for the simple reason being a stark paucity of all the qualities that come in compact form packaged as Harsha Bhogle. Having been a keen follower of the world of radio in its best years and also tv of late, I do not feel it would be an exaggeration to say, he is the modern day Melville de Mello who ruled the waves in the latter half of the 20th century on AIR. I am sure the listeners of my generation will agree.

Thanks Bimalji and offcourse Harshaji for a fascinating talk piece.Being a regional broadcaster from Bengaluru I have been in touch with Harshaji since 1994 NZ test match and talked to him several times ,he has been a great inspiration,he has shown to the cricket world how a non international cricketer with sheer talent and hardwork can be so very successful. His views are always sane and practical,can imagine how he must have felt during those 2017 difficult days. There cannot be another Harsha.
