My heart breaks for the guy that lost his daughter in hurricane Katrina. Trying to drown the pain with booze.
Shepherd's Chapel Network !!!!!!! Pastor Murray is an Anointed Servant of GOD who teaches the Word of GOD with Authority!!!!!!!
Katrina continues to take lives till this day. Wrecked us Cajuns and Creoles to the core
Yeah I shedded a tear.
My heart bleeds for you
Yeah
im absolutely in love with how comforting everyone is “sugar” “baby” “momma” like some people may find it weird since their strangers but those kind words can really help some one out!
I'm like that , so I totally agree!
@@RUclipsguru05 ditto me too 🥰
That’s all you get called down here in the south
Same. I miss New Orleans. 💜 Such a soulful city.
Absolutely. Kindness and compassion go a long way
I really felt for that 15 yr old who's mumma had died. The EMT who helped her was 100% right when he said she just needed somewhere quiet and calm to be with someone who could hold her hand and listen to her and let her know she's loved and everyone mourns different. That hurt my heart.
He was so right. That woman going off like that was definitely making the situation so much worse than it needed to be. I'm glad he refused to let her ride. He was able to get her anxiety under control just on the trip to the hospital. I deal w/ an anxiety disorder & have been dealing w/ my own loss, it's bad enough when you go into an attack on your own, but having to deal w/ loudness & obnoxious ppl only makes the symptoms more intense. He was right, a quiet room w/ someone to hold your hand, telling you it's ok to feel your feelings, does make a big difference.
@@30teriann yep exactly, my son suffers from anxiety and when he has a panic attack and I'm around I speak calmly, let him know he's safe and get him to breath with me, deep breathing works wonders. Screaming would be the last thing you would do, chaos does not help. I hope she's in a good place now at least.
Sorry for your loss, I hope you have the support you need to help you through this as well.
@@neatznotso7424 I'm sorry to hear about your son. Thank goodness he has you. And yes, I have some support. Thank you for asking & your condolences, it is very kind of you. Plz take care & best wishes to your son, & you as well

@@30teriann 💯 she was irritating asf
The fact that the guy said “that’s a good reason to be upset” is amazing. When you are anxious or have these traumatic thoughts and it’s validated by someone else, to say” it’s okay to be upset, now let’s figure out what to do to help” is the best thing you can do. These paramedics are all incredible. Bravo to all x
I absolutely agree. I’ve had a good amount of panic attacks in my life and it’s so reassuring to have someone who is there for you
I started sobbing when the drunk dude started talking about his daughter
Same here
That's some real stuff right there. Though they harm themselves with too much alcohol, a lot of people have legitimate reasons for doing that.
Ye i even knocked my drink over cuz damm
Same 😭
Cause you could feel the pain in his voice
Usually when people who refuse to get medical help are more worried about medical bills than their actual well being.
Yep. Pretty sure I'm gonna die one day when my severe asthma acts up and I cant afford my medications anymore. Scraping by is just stressful.
@Alice Smith In the UK you don't. We have privatised and national health services. Dental if you're on benefits you get free dental care if you choose and if you work you pay. Taxes are relatively high but our cost of living is lower then the US.
@Alice Smith in the UK and many other countries, health services are free and for reference the average US Tax rate is 22.4% and the average UK Tax rate is 23.3%, so not a whole lot of difference. My personal guess is a lot of the US tax distribution is spent on military where as in other countries this is much lower and can be spent on the health industry. Also private health care in the US seems disproportionately more expensive compared to private Health care around the world.
@@GodzillaofTokyo maybe try scrape together some money to move to a county with free medical bills? :))
That sucks.. idk why the us dont have free health care like here in canada
That mime is such a kind soul. He didn’t deserve that and I cried watching him in the ambulance. This world needs more people like him, and all the EMT’s, firefighters, and law enforcement officers
To be fair, we really don't need more mime artists.
@@davidfisher9026Your light bulb must be truly burnt out.
the medic helping the 15 year old is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. The way he talks to her, and just the way he even cares sm
Why was he smoking if he’s an EMS?

@viverefren I think they meant nick the other guy he smokes but he wasn’t the one who dealt with the 15 year old having the panic attack also @Fishingwithme13 js cos someone smokes doesn’t mean they can’t be EMS I smoke and I wanna be a paramedic I’m not quitting and I’ll still be a paramedic
The mime was too sweet for this world. Genuinely. What a sweet human. Wouldn’t harm anything or anyone and some punks wanted to harass a poor innocent human. People really are so disgusting.

Exactly!! I love her! She's amazing
Everybody talking about the Mime and the depressed veteran, but the girl having the panic attack because of her dead mom, that hit just as hard for me.
That dad who lost his daughter, after he said that I realized why he was drinking the way he was THAT DAY was her birthday. Undoubtedly he was drinking to ease the pain. I cant imagine the pain hes in.
It may or may not be true. He may be so far into the alcohol that he doesn't know what day it is, and he's just living in his worst memories.
As someone who has lost s child, that's no doubt why he was so drunk.
@@kinzieley6990 I’m so very sorry. I also know the pain of losing a child 😭💔

My heart really goes out to that man thinking about how he won’t be able to buy his granddaughter any presents. If people have to worry and stress about paying hospital bills more than their own well being, that tells me a LOT about this world.
Not the world. Just the US!
@@Freiya2011 you lived in a sheltered world if you think this is a unique issue and it's all rainbows and sunshine elsewhere.

What bothers me is that this man, as a vet, didn't get the therapy he needed to manage his terrible grief. 9 years on! Despicable care.

I'm gonna need Dan to calm me from my panic attacks from now on. He handled that situation absolutely perfectly
he handled it perfectly, i wish i had this guy around every time ive had a panic attack
Yea I need me a dan for sure 😍
That man that got a head injury from protecting another person really was a hero. I am a female and was assaulted a few years back late at night stuck waiting for a bus that hadn't showed. Some guy with mental health issues came at me swearing at me so I turned away to avoid provoking him and next thing I know he had ran at me kicking me in the back of the leg. For the next 2 minutes (it felt a lifetime) he continued to punch at my head and no one would stop him I screamed as loud as I could for help but they all just stood staring. Eventually 3 guys came along and managed to pull him off me. I was incredibly lucky that I had protected my head although I still had a mild concussion and was very confused. I had no way of phoning for help as the guy grabbed my phone and smashed it for some reason. And even when the guy was dealt with no one came to see if I was OK I stumbled half way up the street for help. So for me seeing that this man on his own risked his own life to save another is truly heroic. I was mad for a long time but I understand its scary to get involved and I applaud anyone that steps up to help another person in that situation :)
I’m sorry that happened to you and no one stepped in to help you, especially after your attacker was pulled off. You deserved so much better from your fellow human beings.

I was angry with the people who didn’t help for so long. I mean it was hard to get to where I was standing as it had been blocked to stop people crossing the road all the way up but it could have been moved for an emergency I’m sure. What made it worse was the bus driver giving me evils cos I was walking into one way traffic to get away from the who;e situation. Was horrible!
