Yo the first dude that was shot in the eye and in the chest and just so happened to be blind was the craziest case I’ve ever seen.🤯 He woke up and didn’t even know what happened. He was so blessed 🙏🏾

For those who are curious, investigators found out that the guy in the first clip who got shot in his sleep, was shot by his own son. Crazy

You can tell that the mom of the curious little boy is reeeeeally tired of all the questions, but also proud that he's asking. And the fact that the little one doesn't hesitate one bit to (politely) bombard everyone around him shows that he's usually encouraged by his family to be inquisitive. Adorable smart kid.

I love kids like him! They teach adults patience and you can see how quickly children learn. It's amazing.
Dan is such a good human. Apparently hes working as a full time nurse now and it just shows how he couldnt care less about the TV side of it and really does this because he genuinely wants to save and help others

Omg Dan and that baby just melted my heart! The way the little guy just laid his head on Dan’s shoulder tells you how great of a person he is. That age is usually when most kids start being uneasy with strangers.

That's the scary thing lol. You must start wondering at some point "should I not be ok??" And considering how nonchalantly the paramedic told him the bullet went through his brain, you'd think it was just another broken bone lmao.

i hope the man was arrested to be honest, if he were to have droven off he could have dangered everyones lives as well as possibly cause more harm yo the patient, what if it werent just a seizure and he was bleeding out from a possible aneurysm? or he was in cardiac arrest?
they said he left the ambulance and took off. they probably just couldn't catch him
It was more important to get the patient to the hospital than to catch the drunk.

my daughter had a seizure a few months back. she was a year old at the time. i remember being so incredibly scared. she had turned blue before the paramedics got there, and they were able to bring her back, calm me down, and she’s 100% happy and healthy now. these people deserve the biggest raises and biggest thanks.

Same when my daughter was one. She had a frebril seizure from having a fever. She didn't turn blue though. I rushed her to the emergency room 5 mins from my house and they checked her and gave her Motrin and she was fine after that. I was freaking the fuc out too. So scary
It can happen again. I hope you had her checked out for any underlying conditions. Hopefully she doesn't ever get them again, but you don't want them to be grand mal seizures, cause there's different kinds.

I didn't even think about that being from Canada. I also didn't know paramedics did diving? I assumed only special teams did that. Maybe that is how it's done in canada? Or maybe there are paramedics here that also do it. I've just never seen it ?

@@jackieblue9536 we let little kids tour our station a couple of times a year. The excitement and curiosity they show is amazing. And some of the questions make me giggle
im I the only one who thinks Nightwatch isnt the same without Holly and Nick riding together? Holly and Nick, are my favourite crew. dont get me wrong. Holly fully deserves the promotion to LT and Im so happy she got the promotion but its not the same. Hope all nightwatch crews are keeping safe, especially because of COVID. much love.

There’s a guy that was arrested for killing his girlfriend and while being questioned for 12 hours his condition kept deteriorating… they got him EMS and he had the same thing… bullet through the eye and was shot during a robbery that killed his girlfriend. The police questioning is available on RUclips.

I haven't even gotten through the first one---- OMG!!!! How lucky is that guy?????!!!! Shot in the eye, missed his brain and spinal cord (not to mention his actual _eye_ ), shot in the chest, missed his heart, lungs, and all major organs. Jeezussss.

the first time I saw an episode of this with Holly in it, I thought she was really cold, standoff-ish and rude, but getting to see her personality through each episode shows me how wrong I was. she may be blunt at times, but you can easily tell she has a huge heart. I would love to live in a town with her as a medic. I really love her now, and I'm glad I watched more and saw her attitude SHINE

She’s in New Orleans clearly there’s an accent compared to someone from Cali right .. then you have sociolect which would be a different classes (upper middle and lower ) . So she clearly already has an accent , when she is not with a patient she still sounds about the same but there is much more talking with a patient . I don’t know what you find funny about it if anything its sad how ignorant people still are “talks all hood” . Or does she know when to be professional and when to calm a patient by speaking to them as if they were familiar. Just odd that people are so hung up on the wrong things.
