Absolutely love these videos and they really encourage me to build the 2 small or 1 combined big office for my family, but having ADHD and all those failed projects, My family refuse to let me prove I can do it, let alone spend the money. Sadly I have to accept their concerns, due to my proven failed garden projects, like building a lattice fence that I started 2 years ago and not even got half of it up lol. So to build an office in my garden would be an outstanding confidence boast but I'm likely to lose interest within 2 weeks lol Oh well we can all have dreams lol Thank you for such amazing and informative videos.
@@willhastings i only put my crappy blades in what can't be sharpened anymore, it goes through like a knife through butter with a crisp neat edge, dust is horrendous though 😂
So the vapour barrier not needed? Being lazy I am tempted not to install one. Confused now why the report would say it's not needed, surely once vapour gets behind the plasterboard you'll get mould as no ventilation. Why would you want the building to be air tight anyway?
it just said it was fairly redundant, but would help with air tightness mate, its about £20, so im kinda stuck with the thought in my head, its cheap enough, why not?
Hi Liam. Tell us more about the halo lighting please, fella. Is it a continuous light strip, or is it cut and 4 corners? Keep the videos coming fella loving em all. Built my garden room. And now onto the kitchen refurbishment
Liam, im hoping to be in new house for Christmas, told wife I'm starting this in new year... She says decorating needs doing first.. could be a divorce that youve caused 😂
I like how you pointed out the 10 meter rule for LED strip, not many people realise this… not as daft as ya look 😀 For anyone wondering, rule of thumb is 12Volt 5M maximum 24v 10M maximum. After that, you might start noticing the LED after that point getting dimmer. another way to combat this is, you can run your power supply to both ends of a 15M strip for example. Or, the way Liam said, as it’s not very easy sourcing strips that are actually over 10Meter anyway (for this reason)
Hi Liam you defo need a t shirt saying 'its all in the build pack'
Or "What I'm gonna do now..." I find myself saying that quite a lot. Now.
Great video mate, I’m pretty much at this stage myself. So happy for you and the lads that you are back doing these 🙌🏻
Great video again guys. Especially looking forward to tomorrows episode and the French Doors.
hopefully they'll go in nice n smoothly, its been a while
Loving this series!! Amazing work guys!!
Very watchable as always Liam. Thanks for taking the time…

thanks mate🤣
Very good Lad’s nice work and some good tips, liken the light tracking 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
I'm no good with a knife at cutting plasterboard, so i always use my cordless circular saw. Perfect straight edge every time, give it a go 👍
You’ll be forever buying new blades for the circ, cutting through pb will dull them in no time.

mate, the dust! id be reported to the HSE in no time😬
Keep it up Liam. Great videos!!!!
Nice one Liam 💪💪👍
Liam, what's the work trousers you have, are they any good
My first chop saw 😂😂😂 deadly
if you've ever used one, you'll know😉
Liam, where do you order your plaster in led profiles from?
Love the video, may I ask the brand of the downlighters?
ill mention them on when we are back mate, I don't know the brand to hand
Brilliant video Liam ...where do you buy the track for the LED
local electrical supplier mate, think its about £6 a length at 2mtr
Could you fully plasterboard the ceiling then cut out the track after?
yes mate, no issue, but if you've not OSB lined it, its going to move like crazy

I’ll show the installation mate, no problem, if it won’t 90° corner easily I’ll show you how I overcome it
@@thegardenroomguru I have fitted the cheap thin ones before but want something better quality this time
@campagquinn you’ll like these mate
Wish I did this in my kitchen last year. Would look epic
@@thegardenroomguruwill you be giving details of the led driver and cable needed for summat like this? You mentioned it’s just speaker wire 😮

wouldn't be the 1st mate, my ex would be happy to rant
Bahaha! Do it the easy way. Send them all on a 2 week holiday once you've secured your new house and bosh ALL the decorating in those 2 weeks.
