Only just discovered you with this series, now I'm hooked on the whole back catalogue! Looking at starting a build next year, so thank you for the great content!
The metal cladding is great, I used this on a lean-to, I had mine coated on the inside (a fabric type coating) to stop condensation which I would recommend as it does work 💜 nice looking garden build 💜
With regards to cross battening - all these cladding types naturally sit off the battens, if you look at the back side it has ridges which means there will always be a gap for airflow behind. So you only need one layer of battens.
With regards the use of the drywall metal bar for the metal cladding... Does this still leave enough gap for airflow? Seems a lot less than what the gap would be using timber battens?
Are you able to have a 4.5m x 5.5m room under permitted development within 2 m of boundary? Thinking of having a go next year so will be interesting to see your new project
under 30m2, you're all good, might want to check with local council as Im getting a lot of feed back on my Facebook group of councils interpreting the rules completely different

Little tip for for led track, compound mitre your corners, it leaves a gap for your tape to go into and no need for drilling it 👍👌
Great to see your MOJO is back 😊

yeah, should of mentioned that, but it is very minimal on this brand anyway, never used other brands so can't comment on that mate
Looking well lads 👍
That looks very similar to bison cladding.
I got mine from southern sheeting, comes with colour coded screws and colour matched reveal boards etc.
they've missed a trick with this brand, boards, corner, joint, end, thats it, no fixings, nothing🤦🏻♂️
@thegardenroomguru Yeah weird business model, good job you are resourceful Liam 😁
Wondered if I'd missed an episode
rained off Monday and Tuesday
@@thegardenroomguru liking the rivet method 👌
Hey mate, can you chuck a link to the place you bought the composite cladding from, cheers pal. I’m toying between this or british cedar at the moment
