The Colonades and Middle Walk are listed with Historic England. Apparently Blackpool Council have been told to get their fingers out and sort (as in fix them).
Good evening George hope you're well. Not long now for your trip to Blackpool. Looks like weather is going to be ok too. Managed a bit in garden this afternoon,pulled most of bedding plants out now, looks so bare. Actually managed to plant my new daffodil narcissus bulbs too,at last, bit late but think they'll be fine,backs bit iffy, so just chilling, had good day, weather not too bad cloudy all day but mild. Ds been fishing 🎣 so he enjoyed that. Well have a good evening,bye for now take good care spk soon. 😊x
Afternoon biker afternoon everyone, nice walk, that area could look brilliant around gynn square once the colonades and hotels are renovated and that grassed area from where the baths were could be made into skate park for the kids, it would keep them off the comedy carpet, 😅😅. Good afternoon Biker great walk that was haven't stayed at cliffs hotel but stay not far from there when we're on holiday and it's a good trek up to the tower which we do nearly every day if we can't get on a tram have a great day x

Thanks biker can you let us know what decade they will start the work on the columns? The barriers have been here 6 months and they’ve done nowt. I live behind The Imperial and I can’t get down to the front. I’m way too old to go all the way around.

Hi Biker the colonnades have been neglected by the council for far too long! I personally think it will cost alot of money to tidy them up, and there is just no spare money in the pot to get them sorted out... I think that North Prom is one of the best areas for seaviews and walks, until the next one, you know what it is...

Think it’s called Gynn Square because of the hotels are built 3 sides of the big Square!!!! Roundabout is the round thing on the Gynn square
