Nice one dave. Ive got the gutter sucker pro. Looks like similar branding. Cant fault it really....had it 2 years and its solid. That deflecting insert is a good design feature. Nice review

It reminds me in an old Eastern Trading Gutter Vac i once purchased, back in the day. Quite a heavy old brute Dave, despite being on wheels ! Though it didnt have the nice carbon pole sections. A couple of nice features on that to be fair.
JD the old one I had the poles were like scaffold tubes they were that heavy 🤣🤣

Clean It Worcestershire I usually do use Vaseline mate, usually works but I have been wrestling with 2 poles that are stuck together for the last 2 hours and there just not budging 😡😡 tried Vaseline, ptfe spray, Evan tried a heat gun, ready to just snap them in half 😂😂, thanks for the advice tho 👍🏻

How about a sensibly priced system for the average home owner, manufacturers take note. I dont like scaling ladders.

McRae's Window Cleaning Brisbane we have one in the UK called a Skyvac and it’s about twice the price of this one. 👍

Hi Dave, Just bought gvs3600 myself.Just wondering do you wash the blue foam filter after each clean and can it be put back on wet and be used on a second job wet.

Bruno Recchioni Hi Bruno. I wash mine off if it looks dirty not every job. I would have thought that as long as you have rung out as much water as possible you can put it on damp as it’s made as a wet and dry vac but I may be wrong. It might be worth giving GSV a call and asking 👍

Question, do you think that there is a market for gutter cleaning work with a gutter vac without offering the cleaning side of things. Facias etc. I hope that makes sense.

Yes I definitely think there is a market for it. If you wanted to add gutter and fascia cleaning as well you could do it plugged into the customer’s garden tap

I keep seeing 3600 watt gutter vacs but how can they run off a UK 13A socket? 13Amps x 230Vac = 2990 watts even at the old 240vac = 3120 watts. So to run at full power you need a generator don't you? It's great that they specify a waterlift figure but they fail to state at what diameter of pipe. Looks great though especially for price.
Hi Ched UK, a generator can be used where no electricity supply is available, we recommend a minimum of 5.5kva for a 3600w vacuum. This vacuum can be run on mains electric, we do also supply a 3600w extension cable too. The suction through the air flow movement is that powerful that you won't necessarily need to run all three motors for a prolonged period of time to hit a running peak at continuous use.
The diameter of all of our carbon fibre and our aluminium poles are 51mm. I hope this is helpful, Julia.
@@guttervacuumsystemsltd4091 Thanks for the reply. I'm not having a go at you guys as you are bringing good new kit at decent prices to us. Just bugs me a little when companies quote 3600 watts and put a 13 amp plug on it. In UK a 13 Amp plug on 230 volts ac can give max of 2990 watts continuous !!! Doesn't matter what cable is rated as fuse will only allow 13 amps through for long duration it will allow peaks of higher!!
Thanks for the 51mm dia as that helps with the waterlift fig as then it can be compared to other manufacturers. I realise it's difficult when customers just see headline watts as the comparison between competitors when in reality it's the suction that matters. Thanks.

Dave are the poles the same as the atoms, as they stick together a lot of the time, had to drive home a few time with the poles on my roof rack and I keep them clean. REEL CLEAN that’s my company by the way 😉
skyrider29 to be honest I’ve never actually had my hands on an atom poles but a mate had some so I will compare them when I get chance👍
That is one of the things that is putting me of at the moment, I have the Skyvac Elite poles which were an upgrade from the push poles. Don’t want to go back to having poles stuck together. If the Skyvac hose fitted on the Predator I would buy the machine as it does looks like a great machine, but I have spoken to Gutter Vacuum systems about this and the Skyvac hose doesn’t fit there machine 😟

@@nbaitey The hose would fit you'd just need to change the machine end cuff, alternatively you can use our universal hose and just change their pole end cuff.
@@skyrider29 Our poles are 51mm diameter 100% carbon fibre, we haven't had any complaints of them sticking together bar one customer out of all the poles we've sold. We advise cleaning maintenance with any pole that we supply and we explain how to do this on our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
What ptfe spray do you use, the are different kinds I notice... 🧐
I wonder if it'd be any good at clearing wasps nests that are up in the eaves?
Also want to see how heavy of a weight it can lift

I’m with you, some of the prices can seem very expensive, but do they all come from the same or similar factories, or do they all have pretty much the same suction power etc?

Hi, I can answer your query directly. Unlike two of our machines which do come from the very same factory as the SkyVac prior to us modifying them for sale, our Predator comes from an entirely separate factory altogether. Regarding specs you would have to refer to the supplier's website for their specs, however the machine featured in this video has a 95" waterflift and a huge 10,750Lpm suction airflow.
We use three factories for all of our vacuums with all of machines having different watts, water lift and airflow.
