Yeah that's the biggest ddownfall to all the gutter vacs, the price. It's the main reason I hadnt already purchased one as was investing the money into things I really needed to complete jobs instead of things to make jobs easier like this piece of kit. I feel lucky too :o
Well done Sid on getting the gutter vac from Spinaclean that was very good of them for doing that for you.. Put the camera on a waterfed pole buddy thats what i have done if you call them they have the waterfed pole adapter. When pricing up jobs it also looks more professional showing the customer what's up in there gutter it's got me lots of jobs doing that way, enjoy it buddy 👍🏻
Ah yea that makes sense actually mate, I’ll order the little adapter and chuck it on the renegade. Definitely will help the quoting process and perhaps be able to get away with a premium price more often. And yeah big up spinaclean! Was shocked to get an email!
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning Yes the renegade pole would be perfect Sid i have my one on a old Teleskopic metal waterfed pole you can see it on my Facebook page.
That's great Sid, don't forget the antenna for the monitor! I think you can fit the camera on your ova8 to inspect before you quote. Good job you bought the van :-) Great publicity for Spinaclean as you do tell it like it is. It is great to see you increasing the pool of kit you have to make things easier. Wait till autumn when everyone's gutters are full of leaves :-) On question, you mentioned insurance for roof cleaning and you might do a vid on that. I was looking at Gleaming but they don't seem to list roof cleaning so who do you use as it would be nice to cover as much work as possible for me.
Hi mate I’ll email you some insurance details tomorrow 👍 and yes I lost it in the bag but found it afterwards 😆 yeah man the van has come in handy already to be honest, currently loaded with 400kg of sand 😮 yeah excited for gutter season big time now!
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning Cheers. Forgot to say love the thumbnail :-) Garage all finished now, so just few more jobs to do then my roof scraping time :-) Cheers.
Congrats on the vac Sid and thanks for the shout out. Little tip for you. Spray the ends of the poles with dry PTFE spray when you have finished. It will help you get them apart and prolong the life of the poles. 👍
Hi sid, just watched a few of you videos and had to subscribe, your such a nice guy and have a great attitude towards work, I was looking to do my roof and got all the information in a few videos, great work mate 👍
Ayeeee Vac time, be good to see what you prefer after a few Jobs the vac or by ladder.. I still get the ladders out on occasion but not sure If that’s Just for the camera angle 🤣
:D do anything for the angles man. Nice to have a second set of poles to set a GoPro on when I buy one now too... I think I’ll always bring the ladders just in case but hopefully this thing will tackle the majority of jobs 👍
Good bit of a kit, got one from the same company myself but you can't beat getting your hands in there to make sure the job's done (in my opinion). Too many people give the guttering a once over with a vac when the tiles hang over too much or there's some proper stubborn growth which it won't get out.
I have this vac, its great 👍 upgraded to 51mm poles tho makes it so much better, less blockages etc. I have cleaned 4th floor properties with blocked down pipes with it no probs 👍 enjoy Sid 😎
Oooh I'll have to check them out if i run into issues, are they aliminium or carbon? Excited to put its through its paces and remove the 100kg of moss that fills up the guttering after a roof clean xD
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning I have the Aluminium ones from Gutter vac systems, they're heavy but indestructible which is what I need as I step on everything! 😆
Nice vid mate, I’ve recently brought the new atom, the elite pole with the carbon fibre neck are a game changer mate, definitely think about upgrading to them in the future.
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning awesome! think I need to take the plunge 😂 even if it’s just for the awkward driveways. Been having a few with bad drainage recently
You should ask if you can get or have some decals or stickers made to go on your van to promote the company as like advertising like my favorite tools or something like that..by spinner clean and gutter sucker for your van and maybe on the vacuum…just a thought…really good review
Never knew such a product existed or worked so well. Here in Northern Ontario Canada we use a similar attachment but connected to a leaf blower. They work but make an absolute mess.
Great video! Just wondered how you have got on with the gutter vac and if you came across any problems with it during residential cleans? Trying to decide to go for this or the Panther and so far this seems to edge it on value for money
Hey sid just a quick one… I am looking to start my own gutter and conservatory cleaning business any advice please. I am going to carry on with my full time job to start off with but anything would be great. Cheers Carl.
Just wanted to ask buddy is it still as good as the start and is there any tips considering taking the plunge with this as don't have alot of free real estate on the caddy
Hi mate I only have a very small round here so do it traditional as its about 30 houses on my estate. But when I had bigger rounds previously I felt like I was spending more money on resin than I was on actual water so I would probably use a water fill up station instead as im in a really hard water area. Water bill was never too bad though really.
Yeah I wish I could give you a rough idea of cost but it varies so much on your tap water.. if you’re in a softer water area definitely make your own at home, you’ll save a fortune
Hi sid i was was wondering on your adivise please I have a GVS GUTTER VAC CAN YOU LEAVE THE CARTRIDGE FILTER AN CLOTH FILTER IN PREDATOR AT THE same time many thanks.
I don't really follow the industry too much as I've never owned one previously but im just happy to have my hands on a vac and this one seems like it'll do a solid job. Will put it through its paces in the next few months. If anyone deals with gutters that are literally packed with moss it's me after a roof clean :D
Hi Sid,I purchased the sky vac industrial machine several years ago from spinaclean, very good machine, however the poles need to be replaced as they are splitting. They have a new range of poles which have a clamping system, they’re called “ elite “.They are very expensive to the extent that I’m considering a different brand for approximately the same price which includes the 3 motor machine, food for thought if anyone is thinking of purchasing a gutter cleaning unit, george - smartech exterior cleaning solutions
