I like that they’re playing simple little riffs instead of showing off their skills. That helps a lot with actually hearing the sound of the amp instead of a bunch of intricate playing drawing attention away from the sound, like most vids I’ve seen.
I got one of these with my first Electric guitar last year, really impressed with quality and sound. Will be using Orange again when its time to go bigger
I use a Behringer heavy distortion pedal for my 'metal' sound with this. Also I have now brought the 20w Orange micro amp and 30w 12inch cab. Sounds amazing and sooo loud
I am stumped. I have the 12L and do not manage to get a cutting metal sound like the one at 3:00. In general mine is more bass-rich, rounder - even when I cut the treble. I find it an excellent amp in general, with the "clean" sound and for blues, but for rock/ hard rock?
Kreioftze i got shit pickups i’m pretty sure. i know barely anything technical. got more time on my acoustic. i have an epiphone special model ii gt if that helps.
You probably already got one but I remember asking the same question when I started, I started out on a fender champ 20 but since have moved to orange products, honestly it’s just about what sound you like better moving forward

You are so right!
Great! No talking BS. Just the sound of the amp.

Can you play metal with this Amp? Do you need a processor/pedal?

Turn the gain all the way up and put the overdrive half way or higher. Then play with the eq. Sounds good on my single coil bridge pickup.
@@John-- thanks for the tip, I will try
Just got that exact amp and was wondering how to...You have been very helpful getting the sounds many thanks....😁
Im either getting this or a Fender Champ 20, any thoughts?
Same. Haha.
Fenders have better clean tones, but i love my crush 12 and tiny terror combo tube
Go with the orange.
@@lanceeverhard6951 yeah i just got the orange last month but i got the orange 20 it seems better with my effects
ToraGamingML Awesome! Probably can’t go wrong with either one, I personally like the Orange.
Thanks partner!
I am considering to buy this amp.
How about for metal pedals distortions?
when i tried the ‘drive channel’ my amp went insane and started ringing and shit. is it the pickups on my guitar?
What pick ups do you have
If you move the guitar around it might be the cable
ole mate got some feedback just turn your guitar down or move away from it...
or the amp down

there's one channel only actually. the settings change the sound
what is the best to set the amp for blues tone....and what is the best for rock ....i have a 335 guitar thank you.
Well it depends.. but you should try find the best tone by adjusting the "Middle" and "Treble" knobs.
Just got this amp off of Reverb looking forward to this especially only paying 80 dollars
Hi. How's it powered?
Please, does anyone know to tell me the difference between 12 and 12L crash amp? thank you
12 is the normal model, 12L is the louder model. L = Louder.
How do you change channels?
Only one chanell

Does it have an aux input to jam to backing tracks?
no it doesn't, you'll have to play the backing tracks from some other place
