Super super this is exactly the way my grandmother makes. Except for d coriander powder. This is just d way Trichur people make especially my grand mom s place thank u dear for bringing this old recipe forward

Thanks Mahima. Was dying to get this exact same yellowish coloured fish curry with coconut. Though I am a mallu I'm not a fan of the red fish curry. Opened your video bcz of the colour of your curry...hehe. Also the addition of the coconut...yummy. I just have one question, can v add normal tamarind (pizhum pulli). I don't like the meen pulli either. This is so easy and u made it look simpler. Planning to try out tonight. 🥂
I tried today by adding mango 1 cup like you said it was too sour is it because I used fish only 350 grams and remaining ingredients with same Measurements like you mentioned in discription
@@monishamanmadan3223 . If you are reducing qty of fish, you must reduce all ingredients accordingly. That's why it became too sour. Also each variety of mango is different in terms of sourness. So always taste a piece before adding to curry. If you find it too sour, add less 😊
