I’ve had and have used this coffee maker for 3 months now and so far I LOVE IT ❤️
I purchased mine from Walmart.
This coffee works great & I definitely recommend this coffee maker.
Wonderful!
I was gifted this today, and I absolutely love it. I've been drinking instant coffee for years, and this is my first coffee maker. I'm so excited to have fresh coffee.
Sounds great!
Super detailed, yet clear and easy to follow. Great job on the video!
Thank you for showing how to use this Coffeemaker. I had used Cuisinart Coffeemakers for twenty years and had one that last time a long time, it finally gave out after twelve years. Went to Walmart and bought this Cuisinart 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker. I really enjoy it.
You have thoroughly explained and answered any questions that I had in a very clear way. Thank you ever so much. 😊
You are so welcome!
After having this for about a year, I know your review to be right on point. It's held up to daily use and the only drawbacks are the lid that raises kinda high and the TERRIBLE location for the water meter. Hopefully they redesign this so the water meter can be seen from the front. It's the best sub $50 coffee maker I've owned.
You are so thorough - thank you so much!!
I finally made up my mind about which coffee maker to buy thanks to your videos 😊
Happy to help! Good job making your first cup of coffee very Proud of you!!! Have fun on your Coffee Journey! keep me updated!
@@JustADad just an update: I love this coffee maker, coffee comes out really hot, one feature I was looking for and which for the one I was considering buying the ninja c251, but this is almost half of the price and it looks beautiful.
For iced coffee, I like cold brew, and that will be my next purchase, I will keep looking for your reviews
Great tutorial.... thank YOU
Thank you for such a Great Review!! You did an Excellent job and I really appreciate the Detail you put into this Review! :)
Thanks for watching and your kind words!!! That was so nice of you to take the time and leave such a nice comment. Your kind words really do mean so much!!! I am so glad it helped and this is the reason I do my Videos To Help Others!!!!
What is your favorite flavor of coffee?
@@JustADad Hey- Actually I brew my coffee and make my own Iced Coffee with different flavors. I live in NJ and we have the Blueberry Festival's every year soooo I usually stock up on Blueberry Varieties and Cranberry Varieties. Fall of course is my favorite time of the year but I'm not really a Pumpkin kind of person. I typically like a Medium Roast brewed Strongly. I did purchase the Cuisinart yesterday and tried it out last night. Result= It's Great and Again your video was Awesome and totally reassured me on the purchase! I look forward to following you videos! Thanks again!!
@@Ajjack1977 Those coffee flavors sound so good and that Festival sounds awesome!!! I agree a Medium roast brewed Strong, that is me to a tee. I like Dunkin Donuts medium roast, Thanks so much for your support and kind words!!!!
Exactly what I needed. Answered my questions along the way
I am really getting to enjoy your reviews! FYI the "WM" at the end of the model number designates that this is made for Walmart exclusively. Since it is being sold cheaper than other Cuisinart coffee makers the overall quality may be slightly less. I am glad to hear the little water filter is reusable. I am assuming to cancel the "CLEAN" notification you press button. Have a great day Just A Dad!
Thanks for the info! That makes sense now. To get the clean light to go out you have to run the descale or clean process. then the light will go out. ruclips.net/video/9d3bhzWOA9Y/видео.html
I've been looking this week for a drip coffee maker. Keurig only makes 6 oz well; any larger size just too watered-down and weak. I've had a front load Hamilton Beach a few years ago but did not love it. The front paneling on the controls came off dyeing normal gentle use. So I've been looking elsewhere. Im not desiring machines with text printed on the buttons because I know that, eventually, the print or symbols wear off from touching and they look tacky. This doesn't have that, which I like. But more importantly, the showerhead-style water dispenser intrigues me. I figure that should help immensely with the extraction and make sure more of the beans get soaked, rather than only those in a small area under the small drip area. I'd like to have a small cup or a bold feature, but I think the wide water head is probably more important in having good coffee.
Just got this as a Christmas gift. I have to say I like the coffee maker, its very aesthetically appealing. It however has the worst, and I mean with no sarcasm; the absolute worst instruction booklet I've gotten from a new product in as long as I can remember. Specifically how it describes to you in multiple places how to install the water filter, or how it doesn't actually at all describe to you how to install the filter, while telling you it told you how to install the water filter. If you have one of these, I'm sure you know exactly what I am talking about. I am very mechanically inclined, and mechanical design is my forte, however if it weren't for RUclips, I would have an extra water filter laying around not know what the hell to do with it. Thank you Just A Dad, and no thanks to Cuisinart.
Good job
Thank you so much for this coffee maker review🤩
I have a question, after making coffee and turning the coffee maker off can I press on the brew button on to heat up the rest of my coffee? I turned it off after it finished brewing instead of leaving it on so it can keep my coffee hot/warm🤦🏻♀️😅
Yes you can! The coffee maker will try to do a brew so you might get some steam coming out once that is done then the warming plate will come on. it might take a bit to warm up the coffee, I would not do this a bunch since when you press the brew button it actually starts a brew but with no water in the tank it will stop the brew and turn on the warming plate.
Great review! Do you think the black chrome shows water spots and smudges more or less than standard stainless steel finish? Thanks!
Hey! I have the same one but ran into an issue with finding a replacement for the carafe! I broke mine and have been searching everywhere
I am going through this same issue currently. Have you had any success?
I was wondering if you reviewed the cuisinart dcc-1120bkc ?
Hi there! Great review! I am looking at either the Cusinart DCC-1220 or the Cusinart DCC-3200 and can't decide which is the better option for me. I know the DCC-3200 is double the price of the DCC-1220; however, price to me isn't huge factor I am more so concerned with taste. That said, which of the two do you believe provided an overall better taste? Thanks!
To be honest I think they make the same cup of coffee that taste great. the DCC3200 is 14 cup so everything is a bit bigger. I like the DCC1220 it just looks more modern. and is 12 cup
Hey Just a Dad, couple questions for you. I have the original Cusinart Brew Centeral DCC-1200, it is the retro look model. You've already answered one question of mine and that was the warming plate time can be changed. However, you didn't mention the 1-4 cup feature my exiting coffee maker has for keeping smaller pots hotter. Also you did mention there was no temp control on this model for the warming plate. Overall though it looks to be the same coffeemaker with a new design and couple features missing. What I'm also curious about though before I consider getting a new one, as mine is going on close to 5 years old, or a bit more is, quite a few reviews on the walmart site suggest the warming plate ring cracks after time. Have you experienced this?
My current one has held up nice and I keep it regularly cleaned including the hot plate, so it's not pealing, or stained and still looks fairly new with the usual wear and tear of age.
Anyway, great review, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting too much of a downgrade instead of an upgrade. I had planned to to get a braun brewsense maybe as an upgrade, but this looks like it will do the job as long as my heating plate isn't going to crack. Thanks again.
Hi! You didn't state the size of the replacement charcoal water filter. I looked on Amazon and could not find this model number. What size should I order?
How can I warm the coffee??
I can’t find this model on the cuisinart website. Only Walmart. Even checked the manual and can’t find out if it’s BPA free? I doubt it…
yeah some models are only at walmart, not sure about bpa free
Thanks for the review. I have a question... I understand it beeps when the brew cycle is done, but does it beep when the 2 hour keep warm timer expires?
I will have to check this out and get back to you.
@@JustADad FYI, I did find a review on Walmart that states it beeps when the warming plate turns off. Thanks.
@@mikem4466 Sorry about that, I feel bad I did not get back to you. Thanks for the update, I really did not know. Thanks so much. what is your favorite coffee?
I have been drinking Dunkin Donuts lately.
@@JustADad Oh, that's no problem. I was just wondering if you remembered from when you tested it. I didn't really want you to dig it out to just test for that feature. I'm not much a an aficionado and pretty much stick with the Maxwell House / Folgers. Maybe I'll try the Dunkin Donuts, I've heard it is pretty good. Thanks.
@@mikem4466 is o9ii88😅
Has anyone been able to find a replacement carafe for this model? Our carafe broke and I cannot find a matching model carafe anywhere… Please help
Can’t find the video on how to clean this coffee maker with vinegar. Can you link it please
Sorry about that, this should work, ruclips.net/video/9d3bhzWOA9Y/видео.html
It’s just a little noisy, but it’s quiet in the same sentence.
I bought this coffee maker after watching your video. I don't know what's going on, but she makes the worst coffee she can. The temperature of the water in the brewing chamber does not rise above 81 degrees Celsius, coffee is bitter and not tasty. What is the reason? Can this be fixed somehow? Should I go back to the store? Is this a problem of my copy and the other one will cook well? Should I choose another model? What can you advise me?
Does this have a regular and bold brew setting?
Can you turn the beeping off?
not on this one
Would you get this or the mr coffee?
Great question. This is a really good coffee maker and looks great too, the only downside is that is does cost a little bit more. so if price is a concern I would get the mr coffee its a really nice and fast coffee maker. I did a video on several different coffee makers that might help. ruclips.net/video/kKjpklGOuMo/видео.html
