We bought a 21' 230; you need to be aware that the length includes the swim platform. So a 21' is more like a 18-19'.
Yes, the bimini top folding towards the bow is a major design mistake for anyone who stores their Switch on a boat lift.

Does the 2024 Bimini face aft vs forward so you have a complete walkthrough instead of crawling under or over the Bimini when its down?

I think i will purchase one but worry about the life of the engine. Now what version to get?

They were good when you could pick one up for 30k.

Easy until your jet drive gets clogged with seaweed. Not so easy then. I'm 6'2" and can barely reach where the clog is with my toes when holding on under the swim deck. Let's talk about how unsafe being under the swim deck is when in open water.

Why do you store seaweed in your jet drive in the first place.

@@trevoC132 what are you like 8 years old? Lakes have seaweed and jet drives suck seaweed into them. This isn't a new problem with jet drives. There are multiple solutions in other vessels on the market, sea doo just chose not to address it

@@michaelosmon do you honestly think that I think you store seaweed in your jet drive?.... What solutions? Like the sea doo idf (intelligent debris free) solution built in to all switches?

It’s disposable boating. After a few years it will fall apart.

That is my concern when I look at one of these. I wouldn't want to pay $50k plus for the upscale model knowing that the same money could get a used boat that can be maintained longer. I *might* look into a used one, if the prices come down, otherwise no thank you.
