This is a broader issue when it comes to social media platforms. Can you imagine the cyberbullying that our kids are experiencing every day? Before social media, they feel safe when they're at home because the bullies cannot follow them home. Now, with different social media platforms, there is no escape. Not unless the US ban social media, that is the only way to stop it. Just like in North Korea or China or Iran. But then again, the question on freedom of speech - Are Americans willing to give up TikTok, FB, X, IG or all chat and social media platforms? I don't think so. If I were the players, I will make a formal complaint to the authorities if I feel my life is threatened. This issue is beyond race. This is cyberbullying.

If you’re someone who takes your political cues from athletes and celebrities, you need to get a life and read a book. Even giving her the benefit of the doubt that just because she liked the post that doesn’t mean it’s also an endorsement, people are going to read into it what they will. Our political discourse is so toxic that it’s always smart never to give the slightest opening for people to start assuming things. Jordan and Tiger lived by that rule, which is one reason why they remained so popular. Clark is obviously free to do and say what she wants, but from a PR standpoint, it’s best to steer clear of the topic altogether.

If you’re someone who takes your political cues from athletes and celebrities, you need to get a life and read a book. CC is a person who stands in her principles and has shown incredible poise throughout her career, especially given the “welcome” she’s gotten from a lot of people in the W. People conveniently forget that she is also a target of online hate, including from other players, and had a compromising video of herself leaked and had to hire personal security. But I guess it only matters when it fits a narrative.
