The fact you took on the criticism and looked to improve is a great Mark of character

Man I love this! I just got back from a 5 day unsuccessful hunt, to top it off I missed a goat on the first day.
I really appreciate your openness and rawness it’s refreshing to see people talk about the entire process not just the successful parts!

Ah Geoff that's hard. But the main thing is that you got out there. Sounds like the trip put a fire in your belly to get out there again which is great. It's what it's all about. Thank you for your kind words. Chris

Haha, thank you. I think story telling has become somewhat of a lost art. It's something i want to get better at as i grow older. Build up a library of stories for the grand kids. My pa Peter had the most amazing stories. He really inspired me. I still tell his stories to my kids.

I would love to join the club but due to injuries as a Sapper I am on a small pension. I think if you did a tutorial for beginners in hunting to improve their shooting skills and not to shoot bad shots could possibly help are standing by more ethical skills. I am acting secretary to Waikerie Rifle Club and more than welcome people to practice at different ranges and zero in their rifles. I am sure ranges across the country will be doing the same.

Also don't worry about paying for the club. You've been a long time viewer of the show and should be a part of our community. Send me an email via form on thehuntsman.com.au and ill hook you up for a free membership:)

    I didn’t watch it all…
What do you call a wild dog ?
    A dingo ?
    Or feral crossbreed ?
I’m a hunter myself & I leave dingos alone but dispatch feral crossbreeds.
Dingos are our apex hunters, taking them out leaves room for cats, pigs etc to escalate…which is exactly what’s happening.
Too many city folk into hunting that are weekend warriors wanting to get likes & views on social media…

A wild dog is just that, a dog, and a dingo is its own species. Then you have the hybrids. I think they all have their place in the wild. I don't shoot any of them. We need more large predictors in Australia, including hunters.
