Context- they guy he was talking about (jack) was a white man brought up in a pretty well off family that gave his life on trying to rehabilitate ex prisoners and he was stabbed to death on london bridge by a ex prisoner and the grenfell victims he talks about was a tower of government accommodation where mostly black people and immigrants lived that burned down a couple of years ago and it burned because of government taking short cuts by having cheap cladding that was extremely flammable these people have not been rehoused and have received minimal support

for those who don't know...the Windrush Generation are black Caribbean/Jamaicans who were offered a chance to live in the UK as a form of apology of the years of colonization. Yet when they arrived in the UK they were faced with racism by white UK. They were never accepted and never felt part of being British. It is a 360 degree slavery. The part about Meghan is that white UK never treated Meghan with the same respect they gave Kate who is white.
