In the spirit of Bond and Bourne, Universal Pictures’ The 355 (in theatres Jan. 15) is an action-packed espionage thriller, conceived and produced by Oscar® nominee Jessica Chastain, directed by genre-defying filmmaker Simon Kinberg, and starring a jaw-dropping cast of some of the most powerful female actors in film history.

I'm so excited about this. 2020 hasn't been that exciting on a count of movie releases so far, yet this is probably one of 3 or 4 movies that I've seen a trailer for and immediately felt an urge to see this year.

Wow, I was disappointed and offended by the way Devan Coggan conducted this panel. She virtually ignored amazing human being and OSCAR-winning actress Lupita Nyongo. She asked a question about diversity to one of the Caucasian actresses on the panel and not the women of color on the panel, Lupita and Fan. By contrast, she was very attentive to Jessica Chastain and Diane Kruger. Tone-deaf and the same old dismissive attitude from white-dominated media towards people of color.
I actually think it’s refreshing to see non bipocs asked about diversity. Typically it’s the only thing people of color get asked during these panels. I do agree that the questions weren’t balanced though.

Jessica had a bigger role because she was the one with the idea and had a bigger roll backstage. Lupita was the second one behind Jessica that got to explain her character. I think it’s pretty equal.
And it wouldn’t make sense to ask Fan Bingbing about diversity in this case, because it’s mainly based on Hollywood. She lives in China, where she is the majority race there.

If it's a hero movie, maybe a secret agent movie. Male actors have often complained about how hard it is to move around in the suits and hot it can get with masks and heavy prosthetics. You're right to wonder, though.
