Thanks Sam. Search console is great to know if a page is going downhill or up. I wish there's an easier way to show if there's any keywords are lost recently for a page.
Simply check Ahrefs Site Explorer that provides all of the keywords a website ranks for in top 100 results. There is also a detailed report available - Movements. There you can check any domain's lost and new keywords, improved and declined positions. That should work for you looks like. - Max

Good tips. I always use GSC to check the performance of both my sites. On occasion I do get an alert about something I need to fix. One of them was "mobile usability issues detected" (a comparison table I created about 5 years ago, I probably need to change the format of it...)
Thanks.Yes, I did search. It has not shown me this canonical error message recently, perhaps it was referring to a page that had not yet been worked on by me. For my index page I use for other pages I use something that matches the page html e.g. which refers to Fantasy-Puppet-Theater-Gigs.html

Thanks Sam. Always really helpful tutorials. At the 1.48min, on your console, the recording shows under PERFORMANCE, a heading "G Search Results". Any idea why none of our Google Search Consoles DON'T show this feature? We also don't have "Discover". We're located in Australia.
If you're not appearing in discover, you should be able to just click on "Performance", which will show you the same report (Search Results). Let me know if that works for you. -Sam

Hello Sam! I have a question regarding a search console issue. Let's say your client has a website which he has access to but he has no access to the search console which was created and managed by his SEO agency. One day, he decided to move on and hire another agency to improve his search ranking. Now his old agency is angry and won't provide search console access. Without suing him or arguing with him, how can you create a new search console for your client and make sure his previous agency has no longer control of this website with the search console he previously created and managed. It's a hypothetical question but I don't see any answer anywhere to this question!

Hi, I've lost the email id associated with my current Google Search Console. And I'm planning to add a new one. Will it affect anything on my website and what are the things to be noted before I add the new one?
GSC is saying my new post is not mobile friendly due to elements being too close together. Myself and a developer have looked through this and cannot find anything but google still seems to think this is the case. What can I do to fix this?
Just follow each step along with Sam. Find keywords with good number of impressions but low number of clicks. Then check what page ranks for this keyword. Then work with onpage SEO, add some internal links, etc. - Max

Do you compare correct traffic in GA? Check if any filters are applied. Also GA will not report those pages, that were not eventually loaded (or GA code was not loaded cause visitor left right away). There is a small number of people, who will be ignored by GA because their browser do not render JS code. Finally, if clicks are going to non-HTML pages - they are not reported by GA too. In example a click on PDF file will not be reported in GA, while it will appear in GSC. Hope that helps. - Max

Hey Audrey, it just appeared automatically for us. If you're trying to access the same report, just hit performance and you should see what I showed in the video. If you're looking to get your content added to discover, here's what Google has to say: "Discover content is algorithmically ranked by what Google thinks a user would find most interesting. Content ranking is powered by the strength of the match between an article's content and a user's interests, so there aren't any methods for boosting the ranking of your pages other than posting content that you think users will find interesting." Really depends on the SERP, but a common reason would be SERP features. ie. search for km to miles and Google has a calculator there. Other possibilities is that GSC may count bot impressions from rank tracking tools etc. -Sam

Totally agree here. Sometimes nice title can bring you more clicks even with lower positions. So it is worth testing and playing around with.

Yes, definitely! But I believe you're limited to 1,000 rows with links last I checked, so not ideal for larger sites.
