- The Budget Honda Civic Build continues with my MOST requested modification for the Civic! The Yonaka Catback exhaust is a fan favorite and arguably the best sounding and most affordable exhaust for the Civic.
Let me start by saying that I had NO intentions of ever putting an aftermarket exhaust on my Civic. After seeing so many request and recommendations on the Yonaka Catback I felt like my subscribers knew what they were talking about. A few sound clips later, I was HOOKED on the idea. The sound was awesome and the price was even better. The perfect addition to the Honda Civic build!
In this video I give you a first look and my impressions of the new civic exhaust. Unboxing videos aren’t everyone’s favorite, but I think you’ll still dig it! I’m beyond excited to get this installed on the Car so I can hear the sweet sweet sounds of that D16Y8 vtec. The install video should be out in the next few weeks and I will make some dedicated sound clips that people can reference. Again, huge THANK YOU to Yonaka Motorsports for sending this out for the build. This is going to be awesome.

I’ve had this exhaust on my Integra for 4 years now. I race track/road and Autocross. Never had a problem and always sounds good with any swap. Ran b16 , b20 , b16 turbo , and now B16B w/ Cams. Gone through multiple headers and never had fitment issues at all. I always recommend this to anyone on budget.
(And they always send extra goodies, great customer service also)

Love Yonaka, had one on my old EJ and got another one for my EK. Love the sound, quiet at low RPM and sounds nice when you step on it.
This actually looks clean for a budget exhaust. 10x better than stock. Looking forward to the install.

To anyone watching that is thinking about buying this catback, please note that while it does fit 1992-2000 civics, it fits the 96-00 better, as the 92-95 rubs the bumper a good bit. Sounds nice and low though :)

the yonaka is definately one of the gems of the civic exhaust.
I myself have owned that similar exhaust on my teg for alittle over three years and all the welds are still strong and the exhaust itself have zero rust. Considering that i live in NC and we do get snow. The only con about the exhaust is the resonator. Over the years of driving it. The inner mesh broke and started rattling but they do sell replacements but i just cut it off and ran without one. So now im running a test pipe with no resonator and it still sounds awsome.
A si cluster and adding some side markers would look clean👌

I have a d16z6 turbo with 2.5 inch piping all the way, 3 inch high flow cat and a hks highpower catback. cleanest Honda exhaust ive ever heard

Got one on my dc2 integra and had one on my dc5 integra...
Only has a problem with my midpipe failing at one of the welds.. completely separated.. was pretty bad. Sound wise no complaints, quality wise 7.5/10.. value wise 10/10 !!

Right! I had mine for less than 6 months and it sounded like a rattle box...
@@Coda5610 yep...the resonator always blows out. They went cheap on the res. Replace that resonator with a vibrant, and it's not that bad of an exhaust.

I have a 1999 Honda Civic si with a b16a2 and this exhaust was one of the first things I got for my car a little bit over a year ago now and I just want to put it out there that I love this exhaust because it's quite when u want it and loud when u step on it. I get so many compliments on my exhaust because it doesn't sound like a ricer it sounds more of like a tuner and everyone always asks me what I'm running and tip for anyone trying to buy this save your money and wait till Christmas time because they take off 100$ and I got everything that Anthony did in his box and I asked for a large shirt but I think they only make mediums.I haven't had any resonator problems like how people have been taking about either way I love my exhaust and I know u will to

Bro i just installed a cat back system on my 1990 honda accord. DNA motoring 107.00 bucks to my door funny thing its not much louder or different sounding that my stock exhaust. But i will say when standing behind the car i can feel the exhaust farther away than before with the stock muffler. Free flowing nice

A a guy from the Canadian prairies yes we wear those but we call them a toque. It gets to -30C here in the winter so it is needed
I just got my first car, a little 2000 honda civic lx bone stock and I want to have a good and nice little honda so I'm trying to look for a good exhaust for this little guy, this might be my answer
I installed this on my H2B and I loved it until the resonator went bad. rattled horribly. Ended up removing the resonator and it transformed the nimble little civic into a dragon. Will be putting 2 vibrant resonators.
Your build is inspiring me to go buy this s14 and build it. I want to go simple but I kinda want to RB swap it 🤣🤣

I had a fat muffler on my ek hatch and I hated it because it looked stupid and didn’t even sound good. Bought the car with it. I ended up unbolting it and running no muffler. Recently I finally installed my stock muffler and I’m very satisfied!

Yonaka exhaust are the way to go. Mine has a cat delete as well as a 8’ vibrant resonator added to it.

I have the exact same brand exhaust on a 08 fg2 and within three months the entire packing blew out of the muffler and the exhaust was loud as as fuck and yonaka wouldn't do a thing about it. It's a quality built exhaust that just does not last....

Yee I run yonaka but cut the muffler because I live in Cali. I’m trying to hit high 10s with mine this weekend.
