there's a groove in this tune that is created by Neil's staccato guitar playing. I've been listening to this song for what, 50 years? It still effects me deeply every time. Beautiful playing by the Stray Gators, my favorite Neil Young band.
I am sitting in my friends room listening to this on an old spinning vinyl Marantz system loud. Under my feet I can feel the broomstick hitting the ceiling, his mom is mad again at the volume. The room is smokey, " good thing she cannot make the stairs anymore, here try this man" he tells me. Just graduated high school, it is my time now. A whole life ahead to enjoy Neils' music!! Fast foreward to 63, whew that was fast :{ !
