Glad to see an update! I wish I had that green house setup. I am in Florida for the time being, we usually go live in the North Carolina mountains for spring to fall but a cyst was found on my pancreas with some tests. Awaiting the results of more tests to find out more information. So I am stuck here. I put in a small garden..just potatoes, tomatoes and peppers. Oh and cucumbers.. our growing season starts early here. I am actually behind compared to some friends. Y’all still have snow and I am putting up our swimming pool next week..lol. It gets crazy hot here, like unbelievably hot. I just picked up some baby chicks, well a few weeks ago..but it’s been years since I had any. I am jumping on the trend. Oh Blessed Spring ! It was a long winter and I am glad too have all the snow gone and the green grass coming up. Gardens too get ready and yard work along with spring cleaning . Every season has its labors . But Spring brings Weddings and more family together times.

Hi Giselle it was great seeing the new building addition. I think it is so neat that there is someone in your community that has speciality’s for everything that has to be done. Like the plumbing. Building the walls, windows and flooring. 1 community completes a building from the beginning to the end. So nice. It’s always fun I find to get together with family. in places that get a lot of snow, it can be spring like temperatures and still have a lot of snow on the ground. Snow does not melt overnight -- in fact you want it to melt as slowly as possible to avoid flooding and since weather is subjective - if they came to visit you in the summer time - they would most likely not be able to handle the heat like you would not handle the cold in the winter :-)
Does your colony grow plants to sell, or are those brassicas for you to grow and eat? I love spring here too. We don't have all the snow. But many of the trees are starting to have leaves now. I love the small green leaves so you can still see through the trees. Daffodils are over now, but the apple trees are beginning to flower which is so pretty. We have had a lot of rain so the water table is very high. I hate winter cold and damp and very little sunshine, wet wet wet dull dull dull. The new part of your workshop is very impressive. Your fire truck business does seem to give you all a good quality of life. I loved the singing, it seemed to highlight the lower voices. I do like it when you manage to travel to another colony even if it is a working holiday. I am off to Turkey this week. Hopefully there will be lots of sunshine, and since it is much warmer there fresh vegetables: Courgettes (Zucchini) and Aubergines. And burnt milk pudding!!
If I had land with nice trees (maybe a pond), I'd be outdoors all winter and spring. For now, though, I'll settle on living vicariously via your videos. 💜💜💜

The lace looked very nice on the sleeves and neckline of your top. I know you like brighter patterned fabric, but you looked most lovely in the delicate blue and white print. I am a bit worried about your chafed hands. I realize you work very hard, yet might you consider wearing gloves more often to protect your hands? A vitamin E capsule once opened can be a wonderful soothing gel on rough skin.

I remember when it did snow in NJ as a kid, the slush is what we called that dirty melting mess. I was hit by the slush by my old BF when I was like 17. He totally drenched me in his car passing by me, I waved and he did that instead of stopping. But I am married a different man 6000 miles away for many reasons in Hawaii Haha 😂
One more question. I noticed that the women all have white blouses and floral pattern dress or some sort of pattern. Are you allowed to wear something solid and maybe a different color blouse?

You said you are growing a tooth ache plant. What is it called. I use cloves for a tooth ache but I'm interested in your plant.

When you visit other colonies, do they just sort of absorb the people from the other colonies for meals?
oh yes, although on our colony for example we like to know when someone is getting visitors over the weekend so that we can prepare more food :)
