    Great! I have heard quite a few version with dialog. But, they are from the last 50 years, I'm guessing this is the earliest recording.

      Could be the earliest recording, but the song is a lot older. it was written by Colonel Sanford "Sandy" Faulkner (1806-1874).

    Interesting to hear, but I'm not in hysterical fits of laughter over it. Really cool to hear this even though the humour is of the time.
