    I just finished making this and it turned out great! I had a few struggles in the beginning and restarted the project about 5x, but the end project turned out awesome. Thank you so much for your easy directions!

    For anyone wondering, I got a beautiful 3 weight yarn that I wanted to use. I did a beginning chain of 45 and did 20 rows and it was the perfect size for my husbands Oakley’s

      @@thecrochetmeknots hey, I'm doing this now and it's so nice... I'm using a trick i learned when making sleeves to make that seam run a bit straight: after doing that slip stitch into the top of the stitch from the row below, I chain one and then do a hdc into that same stitch (at the root of the chain1 I guess?), then hdc into the back loop of the other hdc going around. I don't know what makes it work...maybe that chain1 bumps the line back into form. Thanks again!

      I don’t know if you need this anymore but I have the same problem
      -ch 30, sl st last chain into 1st chain
      -R1: ch 2, 1 hdc into every stitch, sl st (skip the ch 2 from the start)
      -R2-15: ch 2, 1 hdc in the back loops only, sl st (skipping the ch 2)
      - fasten off and weave in the end
      - Whipstitch the bottom close and secure the stitch, turn inside out to weave in the end
      Drawstring
      -take a string through the top row, going through every 2 hdc’s post until the end (should end up in the stitch next to the first one)
      -make a knot with both strands at desired length and cut the excess
      (Repeat the steps if making a double

    Can you share the brand name of your hook and name of the yarn? I just started and ordered a beginner's kit from Amazon but I think I need a better hook. Thank you!!

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  2 месяца назад

      I used leftover red heart super saver yarn for this one. The hook , I honestly bought so long ago that I'm not sure about the brand. If you're not happy with your hook, try buying one at hobby lobby. That way, you can try it right away, and if you don't like it, you can return it.

    Could I just chain more at foundation to get a bigger bag? I need it to be about 15cm width and 25cm length

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  3 года назад +2

      Yes definitely! Measure out your foundation chain for the size you need and just follow the rest of the instructions. 👍🤗

    Can you line the pouch?

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  3 года назад +2

      Of course you can!! If you want to do that I think working it flat would work best instead of in the round. Same stitch count just don't join in the beginning and at the end of each row chain 2 and turn. Once you crochet all your rows, line it on the inside and then whip stitch it together on the bottom and side. Finish with the pull string and voila! Ready to go! ❤️

    Hi! I cut the other tail that was located at the inside of the pouch instead of weaving it, is it okay?

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  2 года назад +1

      Well, I usually recommend weaving in the tail after you fasten off to keep it from coming undone during washing etc. I think it should be ok if you don't wash it too often. 👍

    Mine getting smaller smaller don’t know why

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  7 месяцев назад

      Been there!!! 😔 Make sure you always count your stitches at the end of each round in order to catch any mistakes. Sometimes, when we work in the round, we might accidentally skip the last stitch, thinking it's the first one . That's one possibility. The best thing to do is always count your stitches so you can catch your mistake just in time to correct it. Hope this helps 🥰👍
