from experience, i've done calve exercises very similar to this one (if not exactly) like these for almost a year and they sure thin it down but they replaced the fat in my calves with muscle instead lol (which again, isnt as bad as my fat ones before)
actually u can simply reduce your activities esp walking, as time goes by, your muscle will shrink and you will achieve that super lean leg. but this is hella unhealthy but it 's proven to work.
Personally I love round calves and it's something I really like about my legs but I hope you're doing it because you feel like it, not because you feel pressured or something 💛💛

@@zunairasafeer1785 For flexibility, just do basic stretches after working out! The usual stuff: splits, hamstring stretches, etc. As they get easier, try to deepen the stretch. To kick well, a strong core and strong legs are essential. Do a few core exercises like planks regularly, but focus more on leg exercises and ensure that you engage your core while doing the leg exercises! (For example, when doing high knees, try to also focus on engaging your core instead of just raising your legs as fast as possible.) The basic leg exercises are helpful too: lunges, squats, RDLs etc. Make sure to try different variations of the exercises, so you target all your muscles and don't get bored! Of course, make sure to practice the kick itself! You can even incorporate it into your workout. (For example, doing a rainbow kick after every squat.) Kickboxing might be helpful! I personally enjoyed PopSugar's kickboxing workouts.

I struggle with cramping that felt like my calf muscles were trying to twist and rip themselves off, mostly at night but sometimes while awake. These are great workouts/stretches, but please remember that it's not possible to spot-reduce fat! :) if you wanna slim down your legs, any calorie burning workout could technically work

This video has taught me there are so many different beauty standards in this world. When I had legs like in the after photo, I was teased for my chicken legs. Now that I have shapely calves, I get compliments. I am genuinely surprised shapely calves aren't desirable everywhere.

I was always ashamed of my calves as a young girl, until I grew up and realised it wasn't because I was fat but because I'm muscular by nature and there's nothing wrong with that (actually it's something quite good health-wise). I only had something similar to those super slim legs at the lowest period of my whole life when I starved myself and lost a lot of weight. Don't be insecure!! I get that some ppl think thin calves are elegant, and if you naturally have calves like that, by all means embrace them. But a thin calf means your muscles there are really weak… so just keep that in mind. The ideal should always be a healthy body, not one that fits society’s ever changing image of the perfect body.

Yeah, I've tried this and let me tell you the honest opinion!! I've been doing all the exercises for 20 times each for 5 times And trust me with my legs my hands too did loose some fat!!!
An advice from a 27yo: Don't fall in this lie of having a small body because a small body usually is also a WEAK body. Exercise your legs, stretch, build muscle. You will get old one day and the body will mercilessly charge you for the exercises that weren't done before as soon you approach the 25 yo and stops producing collagen. Not to mention that the energy to perform activities and living the life is completely superior in people that exercises (and it directly affects your seggs life and hormones, and the probability of developing diseases). You're a human, you don't owe ANYONE the obligation to look like a toothpick just to fit inside a box. Love yourself in the most healthy way possible and don't look down at you because of aesthetics. The beauty and social media won't support you when your body starts hurting in your 30s. (I didn't listened this advice 10 years ago and I still regret every new pain in the sciatic nerve)

Here’s the thing sisters, you CANNOT target fat loss in an area, you lose fat throughout your entire body. Exercises like these will likely increase the size of your calf muscles. The “before and after” photo is likely fake. Better off doing some cardio to reduce fat and, hopefully, reduce some fat in the calf area. Be sure to eat healthy, avoid fried foods at all costs. Fruits, veggies, protein, and other nutrients will NOT increase the fat in your body as long as you are able to burn more calories than you consume. Just remember: being as slim as a K-pop girl will do nothing good for your health and your future wellbeing.

This video has taught me there are so many different beauty standards in this world. When I had legs like in the after photo, I was teased for my chicken legs. Now that I have shapely calves, I get compliments. I am genuinely surprised shapely calves aren't desirable everywhere.

This video is shait. I was always ashamed of my calves as a young girl, until I grew up and realised it wasn't because I was fat but because I'm muscular by nature and there's nothing wrong with that (actually it's something quite good health-wise). I only had something similar to those super slim legs at the lowest period of my whole life when I starved myself and lost a lot of weight. Don't be insecure!! Your legs are fine and perfect the way they are and there isn't such a thing as desirable legs by any shape or form!!
Hopefully they come out with some shape and definition. Skinny and straight doesn't look right

I get that some ppl think thin calves are elegant, and if you naturally have calves like that, by all means embrace them. But a thin calf means your muscles there are really weak… so just keep that in mind. The ideal should always be a healthy body, not one that fits society’s ever changing image of the perfect body.
looool you're exercising them though, so it's toned and slim if you do this. much better off than fully fat calves like some ppl watching probably have, most people aren't crazy muscular to begin with but this makes it muscular and pretty so it's much better

An advice from a 27yo:
Don't fall in this lie of having a small body because a small body usually is also a WEAK body. Exercise your legs, stretch, build muscle. You will get old one day and the body will mercilessly charge you for the exercises that weren't done before as soon you approach the 25 yo and stops producing collagen.
Not to mention that the energy to perform activities and living the life is completely superior in people that exercises (and it directly affects your seggs life and hormones, and the probability of developing diseases). You're a human, you don't owe ANYONE the obligation to look like a toothpick just to fit inside a box. Love yourself in the most healthy way possible and don't look down at you because of aesthetics. The beauty and social media won't support you when your body starts hurting in your 30s.
(I didn't listened this advice 10 years ago and I still regret every new pain in the sciatic nerve)

As someone who wants to get into mermaiding having my muscular calves is a good thing. I'm happy with my legs.

Here’s the thing sisters, you CANNOT target fat loss in an area, you lose fat throughout your entire body.
Exercises like these will likely increase the size of your calf muscles. The “before and after” photo is likely fake.
Better off doing some cardio to reduce fat and, hopefully, reduce some fat in the calf area.
Be sure to eat healthy, avoid fried foods at all costs. Fruits, veggies, protein, and other nutrients will NOT increase the fat in your body as long as you are able to burn more calories than you consume.
Just remember: being as slim as a K-pop girl will do nothing good for your health and your future wellbeing.
Imagine the day when Miss Whoever Celebrity appears with big calves (as it has already happened with big butts and big brows) Gym full of girls cracking their gastrocnemius and surgery implants. Hope this exercises work for those who really like thin lower legs but not for the ones brainwashed by any trend.
