- The 2023 Allman Betts Family Revival was another Star Studded Tour with the Best of the Best. It’s hard to believe that it's been 7 years since Devon Allman put together a show at the Fillmore in San Francisco to celebrate the life of his father Gregg Allman. What started as one night of the Devon Allman Project featuring Duane Betts along with a bunch of guest artists has turned into a one-night festival visiting 18-20 cities a year.
Today is her 37th Birthday🦌She keeps going from strength to strength. She seems to have a feel for great songs, and makes them better. I wish she had been with Jeff Beck in St.Louis when I saw him in 2010. She probably considers herself a work in progress, as all outstanding players do ! She's earned her place !
Tal plays the bass like it is lead guitar. Unbelievably gifted bassist. Doesn’t get the credit she deserves. Let’s put it this way: Jeff Beck could choose just about anybody to play bass with him, and he chose Tal Wilkenfield!

You all sound great together!! Gregg and Duane would be pleased to know that their music is being carried on by another generation.
Nice to hear such great Allman classics being kept alive in 2023, especially coming from the immensely talented Tal Wilkenfeld. Hard to believe Gregg is no longer with us. Same with Jeff Beck, for that matter.

I saw her with Jeff on the first tour with her, she was only 20 and literally blew the audience away. I was in the front row. There was such complicity between them. It seems like it was yesterday !
