To me, the Allman brothers enter a portal with their music and uplifting vibe, help me through my grief listening to the transcendent music quality during the death of my little sister in a car accident in 1972; I also party out with them through the seventies, and graduated 1976 with Blue sky blaring in 1969 olds at a graduation party. Now it shows Allman brothers are electric guitars heaven that will live for generations to come. You see, the void is best to be in with the live shows, and Allman, Betts band, keeps it open wide. Thanks to this musical bloodline. With new songs and all. Thanks, sons of Greg and Dicky, for keeping natural rock alive started by your Dads. calmistheway nicely said, my friend. Like you said, they do OK...but touring BBQ fests playing your dad’s songs (while often playing the same licks in “improvised” solos) isn’t keeping any torch going. The torch, as it were, went out in 2014. It’s about moving on and being yourself. Peace.

whenever I get sad I put Dickey Betts on playing Blue Sky.You guys looking just like your daddies and sounding like them Thank You !!you just made my heart sing!!!
I can remember when Devon had Honeytribe and spent all evening playing as fast as he could. He has certainly grown into a fine musician. It's especially nice to see him playing a lot of acoustic and letting Duane and Johnny handle the solos. And when he does solo on that Les Paul, it's tasteful.
I only discovered these guys had formed a band a few weeks ago and I've had both albums on repeat ever since! Absolutely loving them. The album's have everything; rockers, ballads, extended jams, some beautiful harmonies and just overall good vibes! Hope you guys come over to the UK.
Many of our "old" rock gods have died and many will die in the next 10 years. We all need to support new young talented bands (blues, rock, hard rock, heavy metal) like this. Buy their records/CD's and go to their concerts. This is the only way they can make a living from music.
Big Allman bro’s fan here. But they are gone. These guys have enough talent to forge their own path give them the space and time to do so. I think they sound great. They have a lot going for them and slowly but surely they are winning people over. And the world needs them. That version of blue sky was great ! Dare I say I enjoyed hearing it as much as Dickeys band live or Warren and co. Etc. Don’t get me wrong those bands are great also but why shouldn’t these guys tip their collective hats to their Dads ? As far as I hear they do them proud. I just hope they can stay afloat in a music business that was already difficult pre COVID. God bless u guys ! Hope the road goes on forever for all of you as well. Peace
Got my first copy of at Fillmore East in 1972 when I was 16 I think, and since then I've worn out several copies of it. for the last 30 years every CD I've had in my car pretty much as either been the Allman Brothers or Gregg Allman. I think these guys are pretty entertaining for 2020 I say keep it up dudes Rock on.

I think they're fabulous! Had tickets for their Myrtle Beach HOB show in August. We were so excited to be going but unfortunately show was canceled due to a CoVid issue. Sure hope they'll reschedule. I've played the Down To The River cd so much, I'm about to wear it out. Loved their fathers, now I'm loving them. These guys have their own soulful sound, not an imitation. But imagine how proud they are when they do play some Allman Brothers music. Talk about growing up on it...
Freegin' amazing. This band is awesome! The Allman Betts legends live on in their sons. LOVE IT!! Entire set is wonderful. Excellent top-notch energy in this band. Just love the 3rd new song in the set Autumn Breeze and how Dickey's son owns it.
A fine example of great musicianship from the offspring of great musicians, playing not just at the same time but together. These "kids" are honoring the music of their parents while at the same time finding the right members to channel that progression. Of course, Berry and Duane are at a very high level already. The "second" guitarist is first-rate. And the drummer shows flashes of Butch Truck's ability to enhance whatever the others are doing. Devon has found his voice and his place. Worthy of the names Allman-Betts.
When I first heard of this band on the radio, I thought they were the Almond Bits Band, and went to a music store looking for their album...! When i was a kid, I went looking for an album by Steve E. Ravone. Didn't find that one either.
lol I can see that. I would have maybe looked for Stevie Rayvon. First time I shared a Bible verse at a fellowship, I thought Malachi was pronounced ma-lah-chee since I'm Italian and Jewish pronunciation was new to me. They all laughed.
I thought it was crazy to play Purple Rain by these guys, so I went around and listen to Eric Clapton and some other bands doing it and I thought the Allman Betts personal was better than any of the other ones I heard which kind of stunned me

Very good! I can hear all their daddies in their voices and their tone. Genes don't lie. These guys are really good as a band. I love the drummer---he's top notch.
So awesome keeping the great Allman Brothers alive ❤❤❤❤❤
Really nice, had tears in my eyes the whole time
whenever I get sad I put Dickey Betts on playing Blue Sky.You guys looking just like your daddies and sounding like them Thank You !!you just made my heart sing!!!
Makin' this ol' hippie cry like a baby...
They carry on!!
Thanx so much and cheers
Awesome I really liked the rythem guitar with the lead that’s a cover to very proud of a. B. B. Fan since 1971 thanks for keeping the music alive
Great show, these guys nailed it,, reminds me of the good ole days, one and only 1970s.
Fantastic musicianship.
Truth 😎
You’re such amazing 😉, I will love to know you more better.. Kindly drop me your hangout just to get in touch with you 💯🥰
I only discovered these guys had formed a band a few weeks ago and I've had both albums on repeat ever since!
Absolutely loving them. The album's have everything; rockers, ballads, extended jams, some beautiful harmonies and just overall good vibes! Hope you guys come over to the UK.
Cant wait to see you all here in Honolulu Halloween Night... My all-time favorite band.....I'm a NYC Phillimore East Kinda guy....
I keep returning to this here show. That second song is the best. This band is on point. Gregg and Duane would be proud!!!!
Many of our "old" rock gods have died and many will die in the next 10 years. We all need to support new young talented bands (blues, rock, hard rock, heavy metal) like this.
Buy their records/CD's and go to their concerts. This is the only way they can make a living from music.
This band is really coming into its own carryin the torch nice job guys😎

just great music
I think I meet the Allman Brother. At a Festival with his Mom many years ago. She told me she was married to Duanne. Very Cool! They sound great!
I Just Got Chills , This is one of My Favorites , I love These Guys , looking & Sounding like Their Dads Before Them 💯‼️💞
Real nice John...They got ahold of a keeper. Best of luck in the new band....
Peace
Thanks Joey, you said it for me, rock on guys . just a big time Allman bro's fan.
They arent gone!, its still here!!!
@@bobmorr2892 Totally agree.
I got my first Allman Brothers album in 1972, aswell.
They have been a big part of my lifes soundtrack.
✌❤🎸🎶🙏
🇨🇦💃🐈
I'm 70 i saw allman bros in dec on 70 at winterland got meet great and Duane good guys these kids give them a chance they sound really good dont put in the shadows of there fathers I know Greg and duane really proud on otherwise good luck guys
The resemblance between Betts and his dad is striking. They have very similar singing voices too.
It’s awesome to witness
Looks exactly like him
Like Glenn Frey's son Deacon- look alike, sound alike!
And Devon looks just like Duane...incredible.
These guys are pretty damn good. Killer guitar tones. Their folks should be proud.
What a great band. I like the bassist. All the guys are great 💯💥👍
The bassist is Berry Duane Oakley, Berry Oakley's son.
Freegin' amazing. This band is awesome! The Allman Betts legends live on in their sons. LOVE IT!! Entire set is wonderful. Excellent top-notch energy in this band. Just love the 3rd new song in the set Autumn Breeze
and how Dickey's son owns it.
this brings tears, having been around since the beginning 💜
I love to watch and listen to Duane and Berry play, Dig me some Devon too tho I luv the faces of D AND B ...drums spot on as ALL the Music is
Just caught the boys in Orlando HOB. Opening night for their '21 tour and boy did they have the spark. Welcome back A/B Band !
Duane not only looks like his dad but sounds the same as well....Keep that Allman flame lit brothers.....
And Betts flame
Love that they play Dimples...was my favorite off Duane Allman anthology album...can't wait to see them in March in Colorado Springs!!
Went to eat a peach 🍑 concert and brother and sister concert had a grate time thanks guys for your tunes
Big shout out to the gents for this version of IMOER, greetz from Germany. And thanks a million for keeping the vibe alive.
Duane looks exactly like his father & Devon looks so much like his uncle, who Duane Betts is named after. Loved the music!
Agree -- Devon looks as if he could be Duane had he lived to his 50s.
Couldn't be happier for these guys! Talented artists all in their own right! Sure, the names helped.
Magnificent and beautiful! Boy does it take me back to some wonderful memories.
I grew up with listening to thier dads music in 1970. They sound just like them
lol I can see that. I would have maybe looked for Stevie Rayvon. First time I shared a Bible verse at a fellowship, I thought Malachi was pronounced ma-lah-chee since I'm Italian and Jewish pronunciation was new to me. They all laughed.
Nice video! Love this band!!!
Devon has his own unique sound. Great band... their "own" stuff is awesome.
This is great! All in the family. I will pay money to go experience their show as soon as this chemical weapon is disfused
Long live Southern Rock. This sits well with my soul.
Great to see the family legacy being carried on and sounding awesome to boot.

@@devonallman6683 Aaron Folkerts Facebook look forward to chatting more and getting to know great musicians such as yourself
Great...Great cover of Purple Rain...good Lord.
I thought it was crazy to play Purple Rain by these guys, so I went around and listen to Eric Clapton and some other bands doing it and I thought the Allman Betts personal was better than any of the other ones I heard which kind of stunned me
@@bobmorr2892 Saw these guys last night. The sound was so spot on it was haunting. It was a GREAT show! Was a huge fan of the Allmans, and now the sons as well.
Great set. Thanks for posting! First time to hear this band (I've been an Allman Brothers fan since 1975).
