I had a chance to talk to Duane at a Blackberry Smoke show. Got to see them two nights in a row. Not only is he an amazing musician but he is a kind soul , and was genuinely appreciative of my praise.
This is so excellent on so many levels. Duane your powerful tribute to your father was brilliant and brave. Inspirational. Derek your obvious pleasure watching your friend pull it off is heartwarming. Your performance, per the norm, pristine. Susan shines, as always. And then there’s the camaraderie. It glows like a shiny star. Magic again. I have a feeling there was a man very special to all of you (Duane) , directing this performance from heaven.❤
Wow, Trucks playing slide without the chalk board sound after note. Back to his earlier days! Much appreciated. This is a great version of an incomparable song! Susan should have sang the last chorus as well!
W O W! Duane looks like his daddy and right here, he sure sounds like him, too! Incredible! I know Dickey was so, so proud of his boy! You can see just how much of an effect Duane Allman had on Dickey. Naming his son after Skydog is one of the greatest honors he could have bestowed upon him. And shows how much Duane Allman meant to Dickey.
That doesn't even make sense. This is Greggs song, Dickey wasn't even featured in the song that much. I know I saw him do it at least five times in person. I say it was pretty damn good especially Derek. Duane Betts is a pretty decent player he was good enough for his dad when I saw them play together.
DANIEL...please...first, thank you. So the jam that was happening at the start of this song usually happens at the end of "It Ain't Fair", when they transition to Dreams. Please please could you post that??
I only took a short clip from It Ain’t Fair at this show. I got the whole thing though back in February when they debuted the song in Atlantic City. You can find it on here.
Man it makes me happy to see Derek doing so much with Duane.
Love how Derek looks so proud during Duane’s solo, like a brother would ❤
Yeah, it seemed like Betts hesitated a bit at first but Derek waited for and encouraged him.
Good God ❤️ what a performance….Duane’s playing and tone, just hits so hard.
Ffs! Duane is an established and successful performer in his own right. Your comment is incredibly patronising!
@@charlesbyrom1851 of course he is established. How is it saying he’s looking on like a proud brother patronizing?
Duane looks just like Dickey and it’s a trip to see him play so beautifully in tribute to his father just a week or so after his passing 🙏🏾
Amazing stuff. Check out what he did on Blue Sky w Gov’t Mule a couple days before this too
Tears - literally - shooting out of my eyes. ❤️💋🍎🥹🥺😭🥃🌿🎸🍺
Notice the chip. It's his dad's guitar
ABB lives on through the son and nephew of original members.....gotta love it !!
Look at the way Susan Tedeschi is smiling all the way through. She gets it!
TTB feat Duane Betts tour needs to happen and soon

Unmastakable Betts guitar sound and feel. RIP Richard F. Betts.
Wow, pretty awesome.
Dam ,so good ,will always miss Gregg 💗
Family, through generations and ages. I can't love this enough
Tears, lots of tears.... Greatness

Chills here, on one of my all time favorite Allman Brothers songs. The road really does go on forever.
Derek's joyful rhythm chops during Duanes solo were a sight to behold! Duane has really matured in his playing too.
I would love to see these guys form a banð ,so much talent! Believe me there is a couple looking down smiling away
That was an awesome share! Thanx!
A powerful homage to his father. Be proud of yourself, Duane, as Dickey certainly is.
All the smiles on the stage, priceless. What a great rendition.

that was worth the price of admission by itself. believe that!
best set list ive ever seen from them. what a great night
Just saw them do 2 nights of incredible music in Portland may 22nd and 23rd... You van find ot on my channel. Totally different songs both nights.
Sounds so good. Great video!
Beautiful
I hope Sir Richard is proud of his son. I still miss all my brothers
Thank you Daniel!
The Dickey look is mighty strong with Duane!
I keep thinking of Duane as a youngster but he's 46, two years older that Derek
I heard Derek say something recently about how he and a Susan are empty nesters now. Both of their kids are college age and out of the house.
Thank you so damn good
Fantastic!!
I love this song
thats hit ! ❤
Just ssw them do 2 shows in portland. I was hoping they'd do this... Man thanks for this upload💖
A fantastic 3 days of music!
I particularly enjoyed when Derek made eye contact with Duane to give him the floor to rip on a skillfully tasty solo.
Only thing missing was Duane’s voice. The rest was epic. So much soul on that stage. See you June 11th in Phoenix.
Just saw them Wednesday and Thursday in Portland❤ it was epic!
So good
Goodness!
I can't wait till I can witness this live at Blossom Music Center Aug. 13th '24
I just witnessed them 2 nights in Portland and it was epic!
💙
SHEEEET. ( Golly)
I'm drunk and I fucked that up
I'll say...that's ok, I often get drunk and fuck things up. Sometimes myself...
Derek looks like Greg
Duane looks like Greg hello
I think you mean Duane looks like Dickey
There are better impersonators of his father. Sorry
Had to come on here and be a dick huh?
