Your background, what you are capable of doing, what you want, your behaviors and even the very thoughts you are thinking now are caused by physical causes you didn't choose. Physically there really is no way for there to be freewill unless consciousness has some magical properties that allows one to break physical laws. So ultimately humanity can't be the blame.
