This is geography dependent. I've lived in three different areas of the country I was born in, and in two other countries. In the country I grew up in, everywhere, people are cold, empty and transactional. In one of the other countries as well. But in the third country, which I'm now moving to largely because of the friends I made there, the people are good hearted, warm, helpful, and friendly.
