The thing is, we're always told to hold back and not indulge, but the thing is they always show that those who "don't" indulge, end up being full of regrets later on in life and compulsion from not having indulged most of their life, and feel like they've missed out. Might as well ALWAYS make this life as much as possible worthwhile in this prison, and live it up every single day. That's the way I try to live too, no point in living "less" or actually working and contributing to this "system"!

Only this life feels like a longg one where the biggest prank is the body. Spiritual people who know this lives in awe waiting the end of the prank and while the prank does not spare them, they do not get carried away by it.... and knowing without a shadow of a doubt that it is. Greediness, if I am correctly comes from the inner core of preparation, in the past you need to prepare yourself for the winter, do you have enough food, water etc. to survive the upcoming winter? That's what Greediness is, if I am correctly, you see other animals doing this too, like squirels, bears etc.
Yeah. That's not true. Only we are wired to need so much, so good, so special, and we can reach so little from those compared to those needs, that it corrupts us. We are competing for limited resources. That's all. A human life could be even "bored", if you could spend your time with satisfying your needs. But you can't. Even the most rich say that being the most rich is just the least sh@te way to be alive. And not the good way. And they have enough money, even if they had no anything else, apart from what money can buy. No, the needs could be fulfilled. Only we have no the circumstances and the possibilities to spend the time with that. So it seems we are utterly greedy. If you drop two good chunks of the yummy to two dogs, they will take it and they will be nice and satisfied. If you drop just one weak chunk to the same dogs, they will fight for it. They will have to defend it. They will have to be selfish. They will seem utterly greedy. And that's what this universe does to us.
