It basically means “one day even the great will fall”, but Todo adds his own twist by saying “we are the exception” - saw someone else comment this on another video and thought it was interesting

It gives a style so unique to the episode, cause even crushing like madmen and on rupture point and using everything they can to get this episode out, IT'S STILL PERFECT. HOW ? At this point, mappa animators should just make animated and colored manga panels like MMVs. It would be so cool and they would have time to see their family and eat at least 1 meal.
I think the power of music is undeniably imperative to what makes this episode stand out. The credits crescendoing as Mahito’s VA screeches to a point that he sounds like genuinely manic is too good man.
Enoki definitely had some extraordinary delivery this episode but i found the scene where he tells nanami he’ll take on his share of suffering too especially painful, it genuinely made me cry a lot. I thought his delivery with rage was already amazing enough but hearing him break down like that this episode was so impressive
God this epidsode was just immaculate. I have a sleeve with all my favorite villains from various media and there was a reason why I chose Mahito over Sukuna and Geto. He's just so damn good at being evil lol. The way he relished in Itadori's misery by giving Yuji the same beating he received in the previous episode was just, chef's kiss lol. Watching his growth in anime after reading the manga I love how it's been done. Looking forward to that final form soon

I've watched this episode 3 times. Its one of the best episodes of any anime ever imo. It has everything; heartbreak, drama, the cleanest animation, an ost that slaps and a quality of action and fight choreography that has become synonymous with JJK. Every episode is movie quality and I'm here for it.

The fact that the three thighs Todo thought of before landing the Black Flash were Yuji, Takada and three asses solidify him as the absolute GOAT in terms of support characters. Man was even prepared to cross into MHA universe with that PLUS ULTRA
Probably my favorite episode so far. I honestly don't think you talked enough about the animation, with how amazing it was. I really gotta thank Gege, the directors, animators, voice actors, and everyone else I didn't mention that worked on this masterpiece of an anime. It is VERY close to being a perfect adaptation to me.
I had just started JJK like 4 weeks into season two. I had tried to watch it so many times, but could never get into it, I never saw what other people saw. My best friend forced me to watch the show before Shibuya started. I watched all of it with him, and I got hooked. I will never forget the excitement I felt when Thursday came and Crunchyroll had the next episode. I also got my girlfriend into it at the same time and she fell in love with it just as much as me. Me, my girlfriend, and my best friend would watch every episode in his room every week. The way you explained everything this video, was the exact same things I felt when watching season 2 come out. Thank you Gege for this show🙏
The panel of Mahito hitting a black flash is probably the moment when JJK became a top 3 manga for me, seeing that in the anime was so fucking good that I replayed it like 4 times before watching the rest of the episode
Definetly a great episode, The animation, The voicelines, Todo showing up, Even the Kyoto students train scene, I see no issue with them taking the manga panel and just coloring it because its THAT good, This fight is easily top 5 jjk for me.

Being a manga reader, I can't express how incredibly pumped I was to see this episode, and I'm extremely happy to say that it exceeded my expectations. From Mahitos speech while he beats the hell out of Yuji, to Todo's entrance, it was perfect. They went nuts with the final sequence in the episode and I know it's only gonna get crazier in the next one. Knowing the current situation at Mappa, I'm so glad that the animators are still putting their hearts into it, because this has been some of the most beautiful and hype shit I've ever seen.
