- We couldn’t be more excited - the first-ever multispectral hunting riflescope by Pulsar is finally out! The Pulsar Thermion DUO DXP50 is based on our flagship scope - Thermion 2 XP50 PRO. But it also features a 4k full-color channel for daytime hunting, making the new Thermion DUO the ultimate device for hunting at any time of the day, in any weather conditions.
Switching between the channels is simple - all you need to do is click a button placed conveniently close to the eyepiece. Switching increases your detection and identification capabilities, while the high-quality image in any weather conditions ensures you’ll never miss important details.
Enjoy the benefits of a high-quality daytime image and harness the power of a thermal imager and its distinct identification capabilities.
And you can use the Picture-in-Picture mode to simultaneously display the image from both channels, prioritizing either the thermal or the digital image. How cool is that?

you guys keep going from strength to strength, I can't wait what this company will be putting out it 10 and 20 years seeing what's happening now.
Got 3 for a matched set of .22s. Not disappointed. Had to get my own high mounts, but over 3 scopes these lay down consistent 1" spreads after a hundred rounds
Anyone else notice, in the PIP, the crosshairs were not showing same poi on the axis deer? Will you have to sight in both thermal and again for the daytime 4k camera??
I noticed that as well. That is a fallow not an axis.
I like it 👌
This is sweet! I’m gonna need to review one of these.
Prove it.
Probably the xq38 2 is the best value for the money.
just need the Camera suitable for using with IR illuminator so you can Night ID as this can be vrey difficult with thermal also Rangfinding needs to be built in, thuo an add on RF could be used with a IR camera as you can see the IRanging pulse . Moving in the right direction
As a former Special Operations sniper I would like to but it through the test of tracking will it hold will it stand up to certain environmental conditions. Tracking is key to a good scope!
How long can it record for? Is there a separate slot for an microSD card etc?
Will there be a spotter version of this
Dew to the 4k camera on the top that allows you to see real images,do you lose the range finder option?
Would love to test this out on my channel the rat buster especially now I have pulsar adverts on there as well
Here we go again! I have to sell another kidney...
😂😂😂😂lmao
That is never a problem, if you are selling someone else‘s kidneys.
It’s only $6,000 on Amazon not including taxes.
Wait…. Another? You only have 2…….
i sold a nut lol
I"m wondering how well the daytime and thermal systems align in terms of point of impact. Given that the daylight camera is 1"/25mm above the centerline of the thermal camera, will the POIs vary in the vertical plane as the target gets further away from the sight-in range? If one is interested in the daylight camera for most hunting, including longer range, and using the thermal camera for quarry within 200 meters or so, would the emphasis be to sight in with the daylight camera at longer range? Also, will you introduce a LRF version? I just bought a Trail 2 LRF... would love to see this as the universal day/night optic with rangefinder.
Hi, John. You got the point regarding the longer ranges. Therefore we will have a possibility to zero both optical channels separately to mend this issue.
And regarding the LRF - we'll pass it to our RnD. Thanks for the feedback!
@@PulsarVision sometimes I want to Id potential targets at night...with light..if can't thermal Id....usually a stationary animal...that thermal can't Id.
stick to developing great products.
high base mag thermal is rare too..
Better get one down to me so I can test it right away
I wish you guys could send parts for repair to USA. I have a XP50 sent in for repair since June and when I call I get the same “ we don’t have the parts to fix it “ BS
Like it . Though, digital color image is not going to be extremely sharp image. Unless there is a mechanical auto focus .
so you got to zero them separately thats disappointing it would have been nice if you would have done the c50 with a thermal option for 100% target identification at night. hopefully this is something that will come out in the future 🙏
Did it say you had to zero seperately?
I noticed the picture in picture isn't the same as far as reticle goes?
At 3:40 when showing PIP function the crosshair differs alot on the animal. Are they not zero:ed correctly or why does it differ?
They mentioned separate zeroing in a different comment, which is logical imo.
id love to test one n write a review, n make a video of it for my channel, im wanting to do outdoor reviews in hunting products, how much is this?
its very interesting , but how does it handle recoil of say 7mm08 using 168 grain bullet
Ive got an XP50 and it handles 308 recoil fine using 150 grainers. Not an issue at all. 👍
At a price of £4840 i can have an xq50 and a c50 for 2 rifles and a £1000 change
What we need is to zero with digital vision during day and that is the zero for the thermal. Now you have to zero both and thermal zero is not as easy as digital
Right now there is possibility to zero both optical channels. But we will dig into your suggestion. Thanks!
I zero my thermal shooting at a hand warmer, hope that helps you a bit
@@AmericanPatriot-cw9xe Hand warmers are too big and if they stay a while they heat the surroundings and the image gets blurred. I was told to put it in a pizza box and cut a hole on the outside of pizza box lid and then the heat doesn't disperse and blur the target.
@@mchughcb Use HVAC tape from home depot. Tape that on the target at any shooting range and use black hot setting. BOOM! Clear as day!
Use 25mm aluminium foil tape like they use sometimes in hvac.
Put it on a pizza box etc but tilt it say 15 degrees at the bottom not just vertical.
The tape stands out a mile.
The crosshairs are off from picture in picture
Instead of an ambi focus why not add a single dial centered behind the daytime portion of the scope. Would be more streamline and less of it getting moved in a case.
We'll pass it to our RnD. But right now it is the optimal solution in means of precision of the lens/sensor combo.
I Didn't hear any mention of a LRF incorporated in it.
They won't its just like most Pulsar stuff they won't mention it ,talk about it until its there on the next model in another 6 months and then they will say that it is the missing link , as it will be the best thing jnve sliced bread until another new one which will be an XP50 2 Pro version 20 !!! 😀🤣
how much the price
No lrf? Why?
Take my money 😂😂
What's the cost
Can anyone give me real numbers on distance I may have had a bad sales man but this was $6200 an he claimed I can tell the difference between a cow an a fox at 1500yards but at 300 yards its just 1990s pixels I turn the knob at the front to better quality an just see boxes in the shape of a animal. At 100feet it's unbelievable so is my new scope defective or is rhis as good as its gonna get please an thank you
It's a LRF thermion 2 xp50
Put the scope back down to base mag then focus and range find. I can tell the diff between a cow and a horse at 800m dont know about 1500m tho.
1500m is a very long way away.
Never been an issue where l hunt.
Hope this helps
whats msrp going to be?
£6000
These scopes will hit the market in the end of 2022, therefore it is still TBD.
Yeah I'll wait for the independent "user" reviews
price?
I love the way a company comes up with a great idea, and think it is the best ! A scope isn't just about what you see. This company is so one dimensional.
European optic sensor means hey this is high dollar Chinesium junk. We can add a few grand by using a poor English speaking jerk.
Release date?
How much
Dual-Spectrum, not "Multi-Spectral?" "Multi-Spectral" might include Starlight too? And even better, integrating all three into a single image, without the need to switch between modes? That would truly be "Multi-Spectral?"
cant hunt game animals at all in my area if your scope has capabilities of NV or thermal...not even during the day
No LRF ?
The Thermion DUO DXP does not have a built-in laser rangefinder.
throw on lrf n mount for torch...then..🤯😇🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉😹💤
In simple terms, this is NOT 4K thermal resolution viewing screen. And not even a dated 720P thermal resolution.
And you want us to pay $7,000.00 USD for it?
Look at 3:44 seconds when the pip is on, the cross hairs are showing different points of aim?? Gimmicky, crap that will be over priced.
Its the same as their LRF products. The range finder is not the same reticle. Not a big surprise since its two different lenses.
I don't trust someone who can't look me straight in the eyes...... or straight into the camera lens.
If only I didn't have to sell a kidney to buy one.
Thats why God gave you 2 kidneys. 🤣🤣🤣
$6599.00 so you don't have to look it up.
Thermion doesn't hold a candle to competitor thermals in fog bro!
My old xq38 works great in fog?
@@The9Pauls what r u comparing it to?
@@thecoyoteguy9098 what are you comparing it to
@@NietzscheanMan the 7 other thermal scopes I've had.
It's absolutely criminal the prices these companies charge for these products.
Not really. Considering that a mediocre thermal is about $5,000 and with that kind of resolution is around $500 and you slap the two together all in one housing and 6k is a fair price. They are going for 6.5 online right now. You just have to stop being poor. I am actually thinking of selling my REAP-IR and buying this to replace it.
Bank account raping 😢
How about a price or is that not shown because it is another stupid telephone number price so that only the snobs can afford it
Many hunters with a fat wallet. I think this thing is more expensive than a good quality 243?. Send one of them to me to review in an unbiassed way. LOL, no seriously I'm sure it is the ants pants and if one has a good eye and steady hands plus good hunting skills you probably on't go astray with this. Unfortunately almost all of your line is beyond me at the moment.
No RF ??
