If you got with Cassidy/Finn, Sean gets to live with them in Mexico while Daniel gets to live with his grandparents. In this ending, Daniel is still a good kid who uses his powers for nothing but good and Sean gets what he wants in Mexico, a better life without having to keep running.
That Moment when Daniel screamed "Whyyy" killed my heart so hard.

LITERALLY there is No really a happy ending every ending is bittersweet Has happy but sad things too BUT this one this one is just sad.
I mean, the one with them in Mexico is pretty baller imo, plus the one where Sean is in Mexico and Daniel at the Reynolds is also pretty chill.

the best ending imo is the one where sean goes to Mexico alone because they both end up living happy lives in the end Daniel with chris and his grandparents and sean with cassidy or finn.

Lone Wolf. Remember in Red Dead Redemption 2 in the epilouge what charles was called? He was called Lone Wolf so either they made a reference to that or they just puted " An Alone Wolf"

daniel pleading out for his big brother who was all he had left to live makes this 1000x more sadder.
The saddest and most terrifying thing about this ending is how Sean didn't get the peaceful life he deserved after all he has been through but suffers to his last second. His death must have been painful af. Espescially the tears in his eyes and the fact that Sean tried to avoid all of this by surrendering but eventually died anyway because of Daniel's wrong choice.
It honestly feels more like *Sean's* wrong choice. Like all of your mistakes come back to you in the worst way ever. Afterall, he's the one who taught Daniel to put moral rules aside and focus on survival, only to make a contradictory decision in the very end. It's honestly creepy how realistic this messed up situation feels.

@@johnsk.j6894 So, so true. I didn't consider the moral effects of my decisions on Daniel. I thought the game's consequences would be like: "if i knock out Hank, we'll have more time to run away before he calls the cops" but then Brody comes in and it doesn't matter at all, in the end. Just taught Daniel that attacking people is fine... I just finished the game and I'm so disappointed and sad.

Honeslty all the endings of the game are really good, for people saying unfournate for getting this ending, ofc ik sean dies but just the badassery of daniel and the music and they way this ending makes you wanna cry is so powerful.

I'm still so heavily emotional due to this ending of the game. It seems there's a bit of sadness in all the endings, but Redemption is my personal favorite.

Hugs to everyone who got this ending 😭😞 I was sobbing, it’s the worst. But this is probably the closest game series to my heart for a lot of reasons, with relationships that are very true to life 💚 And man, there was something so damn powerful about seeing this Mexican kid with superpowers tear through that stupid border wall.
what made me cry even more is the fact that my name is Seán so seeing it on the cross was so sad I was sobbing so much
Its funny how Daniel put a baseball on Seans grave when in the start of the game Sean said their couldn't be a more boring sport than baseball.
Often when people get shot they have no time to react before death. Sean choked on his own blood, and he had tears in his eyes.
Just finished playing this last night got the ending where they both manage to open their repair shop and live it out in Mexico

Another amazing scene, this game just blew me away. I cried so much in this game for the two and seeing Sean end like this is just brutal, Daniel wears Sean on his chest, he prefers lonelyness and I was surprised, that the kid in the end didnt got killed. They writers of this Game are amazing! And where can I get this soundtrack! I really want to listen to this all day!

I thought the game wasn’t as good as the first but the whole last episode was the best of both games.
in life is strange 3, i bet this is the canon ending that they’ll pick. some character will probably mention a border shooting at some time. its sad but this one just has the most detail, so i feel like this is what the devs will pick.

would be cool if you could pick your ending in the new life is strange game coming out so that they mention something like this (kinda like how if you have a life is strange 1 save it changes to match)
This ending is the pay for your sins ending, by raising daniel in much the way karen feels you should , by living to look out for yourself and your family over others who may hurt you even if it's illegal. Daniel has learnt this is the way to live, and refuses to listen to Sean as he throws away the chance of a new life in mexico. To choose to give in to the police inspite of all they have done and given up in a moral sense to get here. In blood brothers it's different as both are on the same page and have each others backs. This in this ending they only do harm to others that do harm to themselves. Here Daniel has nothing so does as pleases for better or worse.

I swear I was a second away from getting this ending... Thankfully I'm stick to the wolves brothers and I got blood brothers instead.... Personally I think it's the best one since I don't want poor Sean ended up in jail and missed Daniel growing up

Just got this ending today. Absolutely heartbreaking and unexpected.
Hot take but i think this is th best ending. Reason being it shows the harshness or reality and how daniel adapts to the new circumstances. Hell yeah its sad but it shows the strength of daniel and how he ends up carrying the memento of his older brother by making it to puerto lobos
Edit: also i admire him hugley for sparing the guy with the gun. I mean daniel has caused so much physical harm and he could have easily done it again but i think he is just tired of all the death so he let him go

I didn't do all that I made good choices never let dan swear or kill anyone went back to the tent with him, I treated him like I would treat my brothers in real life and he would never listen to me, so it makes sense.

As soon as I got this ending I kinda had an idea that if Sean ever did get powers they would be to see and connect with the dead (obviously this would’ve never happened but it was a cool thought)
He would also see his fathers ghost once he lost his eye and passed out, which would reveal his power to him.
Once he died in this ending his powers would change from him alive being able to connect with the dead to him dead and being able to connect with the living.
In the other endings it wouldn’t have played much of a role but I think I just really wanted to see a reunion between these two with a ghost version of Sean stopping Daniel from killing that one gang leader and just telling him how brave he was and how sorry he was for leaving himself :)
