- Has your DJI mic stopped working with your mobile device? I had that happen to me and lost 42 videos for a project I was working on. I was able to find the fix after hours of searching online. Hopefully, this will help you if you have the same issue. Besides that, the DJI wireless mic has worked perfectly. It's my favorite mic system.

Thank you so much for posting this!! I had just gotten these mics and couldn't figure out why I wasn't receiving any audio, and it turns out all I had to do was just make sure that the lightning connector was completely flush with the receiver. You're a lifesaver! Thanks again!!

Thanks Scott. This just happened to a series of interviews I did too.
My conclusion from watching your video is that the margin of error's too thin for me to just push in the pins to match up and just trust the system to record.
My solution is to add three steps to the workflow:
1) Push in pins to match
2) record a backup on the mic's internal memory
3) always play back the footage after recording.
Those 3 things will keep your audio working great! Thanks for watching!

Hey Scott just to let you know i got the DJI mic recording - a mixture of pushing the the iPhone connection beyond flush on the transmitter and when you want to play back to audio remove the transmitter from the phone 😂👍🏼 thanks once again.

My duo suddenly stopped working and is recording with the native camera mic. The lightning thingy is inserted all the way in but it still doesn’t work. Any tips on how to fix?
Unfortunately, I don't know. Since I haven't had that issue, I haven't had to figure out how to fix it.
Did you find a solution to the problem?
Some people said it’s the iPhone’s camera setting is preventing it to work.
Try to use the DJi Mimo app to shoot video - if it works , that’s iPhone’s camera app’s problem.
Some other people pointed out it’s the iPhone’s camera pop setting inside system preference - “record stereo sound” . Turn it on and off and see if there’s any difference?

You will have to unplug the receiver from your phone during playback to hear the audio. Some people leave it in and then think it still has issues.

Just had the same issue but with a Google Pxiel 6 Pro. Tried what you said with no luck but did find this out which fixed it.
Playback with the receiver still plugged IN had no sound but when I took it OUT audio was fine. So after you record, unplug the receiver and the video should have audio.
This is what I found worked for me and my phone!
Yeah. You will not hear any playback audio if it’s still plugged in for sure. Some of us would listen to the playback (after removing the receiver) and the audio never made it into the phone.
Either way, I’m glad you figured yours out.
