Today Macky starts his last stage race of the season, Moab Rocks. After a variety of stage races this season, he's looking forward to the technical trails and hoping that his fitness and skills will come together to give him his best race of the year!

Macky's downhill skills are pure controlled chaos.....soooo fast and smooth. Super cool seeing Syd's dad in this and doing so well. Absolutely love Syd's commentary and interviews....pulls it all together. Love what you all share with us!!!

I guess you just needed the course loaded in your computer because I saw very few course markings. That was about the scariest part for me watching this😆
It was easier to follow in person, but does take some practice. I did have the track loaded though and know that area fairly well.

Moab has excellent riding from what I have heard but is the scenery as Pleasant as the Rockies?
It's very different but also super cool!
As a fellow New Mexican, the RoadApple is more of a dirt road race, certainly different than this.... Also, didn't realise that was Cal in 1st place, he's a great dude and crazy fast!

Yup, but I chose not to use them for this race because of the extra weight.

Great job placing Macky! Question what do you have strapped to tje right fork leg? Almost looks like a shock wiz.
It's the timing chip. It had to be attached to the bike or outside of pack, so I went with the fork so it was out of the way.
I think I would have got lost, not many markings.... although there would be plenty of people in front of me to follow.
It's hard to see in the footage, but it's actually fairly easy to follow (and well marked). Day 2 was a bit harder...
